Jun Mitani fills up his BB to call Louis Bilodeau's shove from CO.

UTG Jun Mitani shoves 76,000 with J♣ J♦ and Louis Bilodeau puts in his last 116,000 with A♠ K♦ for a flip. Mitani completes a straight on T♣ 9♣ 6♣ K♥ Q♣ and doubles up.

Mitani spiked both of his cards for two pair at the flop that hold to the turn T♥ and river A♥ for a full house and a double up.

Japan’s Jun Mitani is back and is raising from UTG for 700. The raise is greeted with a call from Thomas Scheld on the D and a BB defense.

The flop is 4♦ Q♥ 6♦ as the BB and the original raiser Mitani check. Scheld takes the betting lead for 1,100 as the BB folds but Mitani opts to call. The turn is the 7♦ and this time, both players check. The river is the 4♥ and no further action transpires. Mitani shows A♣ 8♠ while Schled tables J♣ J♠ for the win.

China’s Xu Jijun and Jun Mitani of Japan battle in an all-in preflop situation with the runout going: 2♦ 7♥ 9♠ 3♥ 4♣ .

Xu turns over 4♥ 5♥ for a pair of fours and Mitani initially mucks his hand but then recovers his hand and then flips it over to reveal A♣ 7♣ for what would have been a pair of sevens. He thought he had lost. However, since the Japanese player threw his hand in the muck, it is considered dead and Xu eliminates him. Mitani appealed his fate but it was denied.
