Agharazi Babayev starts us off with a 13,000 raise from UTG and both blinds defend. Checked down to the river A♦ 9♣ T♣ 4♥ 2♠ , a delayed c-bet does the trick and Babayev bags the pot.

Yamada open shoves A♠ J♠ from the button and is elated to see A♣ 2♣ from BB Curtis Lim. This time the board favors Jun Yamada with J♦ 6♦ 8♣ J♥ T♠ and a double up.

The final flight of the third annual APPT Cambodia Main Event wrapped up with 219 entries, bringing the total to 518 across all starting days. This turnout not only shattered the guarantee but also set the stage for an exciting Day 2 wherein 71 out of the 93 remaining players will walk away with a piece of the US$ 746,153 prize pool. By the end of the schedule 15 rounds of play, only 42 players remained, earning their spot at Day 2.

One player with a high chance of reaching ITM is Singapore's Curtis Lim who bagged the biggest at Day 1C of 377,000 (94 bb). Lim surged late in the day with a big blind special 2♦ 3♦ improving to a full house.

Locking up second and third rank are Aladin Reskallah and David Erquiaga, both players also making late day strides to bag hefty stacks. Reskallah hot streak continues having already won a side event at the series. And further down the leaderboard is Sha Chengchun who finished 3rd at the Mystery Bounty event.

The 42 remaining players now join the 51 others that survived the previous heats into Day 2. The money bubble is close at hand with 71 players paid. The minimum payout is US$ 2,700 while way up top is US$ 147,500. This is the largest top prize to be awarded to an APPT champion in Cambodia.

Curtis Lim just won a pot over 100,000 to chip up to 424,500. He currently leads with 48 players remaining.

Curtis Lim defends his big blind from min-raiser Sunghak Lee. No c-bet on the flop 2♥ 5♣ 7♥ cues Lim to bet the turn 3♥ for 10,000. Lee calls. On the river 3♠ , Lim goes for a larger 25,000 bet, Lee calls for the last time then mucks to Lim’s big blind special 2♦ 3♦ full house.

Curtis Lim is dealt Q♥ Q♠ and three-bets 13,000, initial raiser Nohad Tehani wants to see the flop and makes the call. When the cards land 4♥ A♦ 2♠ , Tehani defers to the aggressor Lim who continues for 8000, Tehani calls, then they check the turn 5♠ . On the river Q♣ , Tehani checks, Lim sends 40,000 out front, the call comes and so does a nice pile of chips after Tehani is shown the set.

The river 9♦ is no help to Ebiya to pay a costly double up to Lim. At the hand's completion, Lim said he mis-clicked and only meant to bet 1700 at the flop.
