Day 1B of the APPT National wrapped up with Taiwan's Li Mu Ze bagging the chip lead with 415,000 in chips. 15 players advanced the ITM round. Stay tuned for the recap.

Only took one hand for the bubble to pop. Jhon Dizon wakes up with A♣ A♠ on the big blind and is hoping for a double up against big stacked Mike Takayama with T♥ T♦ . That wish was crushed when the board ran 6♦ 7♥ 2♥ 9♦ 8♣ . Dizon bubbled to end Day 1B leaving 15 players bagging up.

Li Mu Ze opens then heads to the flop 4♠ 2♠ 2♣ with caller Moses Saquing. Both check to the turn K♣ . Li bets 15,000 and wins the small pot.

Utg Moon Kyung Ho opens 12,000 and Jhon Dizon calls from cutoff. Moon continues for 12,000 at the flop 9♣ K♠ T♠ , Dizon raises to 35,000, Moon flats then checks the turn 7♦ . Dizon gets 65,000, Moon raises all in, Dizon folds.

From the button, Mike Takayama three-bets 37,000 and initial raiser Moon Kyung Ho calls. The flop T♠ J♦ 6♣ is checked to the turn 5♠ .Takayama bet 35,000, Moon check-calls. Same action on the river 9♠ with Takayama's 55,000 bet check-called. Takayama flips open Q♥ Q♠ and drags in the pot.

Button Irvan Iliadi opens 10,000 then calls big blind Moses Saquing's 35,000 re-raise. Flop comes T♥ A♠ 4♦ , Saquing continues for 26,000 and Iliadi calls. The turn 3♣ is checked then Iliadi bets the river 65,000 which is enough to win the pot uncontested.

Three players in on a raised pot preflop, cards land 7♦ 3♥ 2♦ . Big blind Adones Carmona shoves (37,000), utg Isaac Hechanova joins and covers, cutoff Jhon Dizon folds.

No help for Carmona on the board for Choi's small pair to earn a double up.

Cutoff Andrei Budykin opens and big blind Mike Takayama defends. Both head to a flop J♦ 7♦ 6♦ , Budykin continues for another 8000 that's called. The turn A♥ and river 5♠ are checked. Takayama has K♣ 8♦ , Budykin takes the pot with Q♦ J♠ pair.

With Taguchi improving to a straight, it's a double up.

Three players build an 18,000 pot and see a flop 5♣ Q♥ 7♣ . Matthew Holley c-bets 3500, cutoff Beng Hong Ker raises 17,000, big blind folds and Holley flats. On the turn 9♠ , Holley leads 6000, Ker flats to reach the river 6♥ . Holley fires once more for 25,000, this time Ker gives up his hand.

Three players enter preflop, cards run 4♥ 9♥ 5♣ , all check to the turn J♣ . Small blind Irvan Iliadi leads out 4000, big blind calls, utg Emman Segismundo raises 17,000, Iliadi calls, big blind folds to bring the river 9♠ . Iliadi leads again for 65,000 which covers Segismundo's stack who risks it.

With Lortie's kicker card pairing up, he doubles up.

Gary Pound opens, two players call and head to a flop 9♦ 8♥ A♠ . Big blind leads out 2300, Pound flats, button player Dexter Santos shoves 6600, only Pound makes the call.

Three players in on a raised pot, flop is 9♠ 4♥ 3♠ . Aggressor Joaquin Maglona c-bets 3500, Shirase Ryuki check-calls, one player folds. The turn 5♦ has Maglona firing 7500 then quickly folds to Ryuki's check-raise all in of 23,000.

Moon Kyung Ho raises preflop, blinds call, flop runs K♣ 7♣ 4♥ . Moon continues for 2500, small blind folds while big blind Henrik Tollefsen check-calls. The turn Q♥ sees a 3500 bet from Moon that Tollefsen calls once again. Both check the river A♠ . Tollefsen 7♦ 9♠ , Moon shows Q♣ T♣ for the higher pair.

Button player Beak Dosan opens 1600 then calls small blind Ikegaya Takuya's 5100 re-raise. Flop comes 8♣ 3♠ Q♠ , Takuya continues 5000, Dosan shoves 29,900, Takuya calls.

The turn A♥ improves Dosan to a higher pair and with the river 9♥ , Dosan doubles up.

Moon Kyungho raises 3500, big blind Moses Saquing calls, flop runs 9♦ 5♦ J♦ . Kyungho jams and is at risk against bigger stacked Saquing who calls.

The turn A♠ seals the win for Saquing clean out Kyungho.

Utg Menghong Zhang raises 1700, button Seungcheol Choi calls, both head to the flop 7♣ 7♠ 2♠ . Zhang continues 1500 that's called then send out 4000 on the turn 4♠ . Choi folds.

The second flight of the APPT National is well underway as we pick up the action at the start of Level 6. Registration is open until the end of Level 10 at approximately 5:20pm.
