Asian Poker Tour announces million dollar Main Event prize pool for APT Taipei 2023

 

Hot off the press! The Asian Poker Tour has just announced a jaw dropping one million dollar Main Event prize pool (NT$ 30 Million) for APT Taiwan 2023. This is the single largest tournament guarantee ever put forth by the brand in over a decade. The upcoming thriller headlines the festival’s 49-game lineup which serves an added NT$ 21 Million (~$700K) in side event guarantees. In the announcement, APT President Neil Johnson said, 

“APT Taipei will be the biggest poker series in the 15-year history of the Asian Poker Tour,” 

APT Taipei 2023 will be the first event to be held at the Asia Poker Arena, the region’s newest poker venue created and run by the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association. The venue will have 55 tables, live streaming, poker TV show, restaurant, and a dedicated room for Match Poker. The event runs from April 28 to May 7.  Guaranteed events listed below.
