One of Asia’s most popular poker brands is about to belt out a gigantic roar as the Asian Poker Tour gets set to host APT Philippines 2019. This annual stop in the APT calendar may arguably be the biggest event held by the brand each year. It will once again take place at Resorts World Manila, the choice hub for this event since 2010.
Running from April 24 to May 5, an action-packed schedule will be served over the course of the twelve days. 23 events are lined up and over P22 Million (~US$440,000) in guaranteed prizes. The Main Event and the Championships Event each come with a P10 Million guarantee. Additionally, for the first time in Manila, six High Rollers events will be offered.
Through the years, the APT has developed strong ties with players from Japan. With this series coinciding with Japan’s Golden Week, a flood of over 200 Japanese nationals is expected to attend.
Main Event and Championships Event
Since last year, the APT has been running two featured tournaments back to back, the Main Event followed by the Championships Event. Both of these events come with a guarantee of P10 Million (~US$193,500). These are the stars of the festival. The final table will stream live in APT Twitch and APT YouTube. See schedule below.
