APPT Cambodia 2022: NagaWorld Kickoff $50K guarantee breached! Registration open until 950pm

Day 2 of the inaugural Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Cambodia took off running with Day 1B of the NagaWorld Kickoff drawing in an eager crowd. Seen on the felt were players traveling from around the world: Dutch vlogger Tony Khoang, South Africa’s Marc Joseph, Japan’s Go Mori, India’s Akshay Kapoor (who already cashed at last night’s NLH Freezeout), and all the way from Chile, Diego Valencia.

The first break was reached two hours in with 74 entries posted on the screens. Combined with the 118 Day 1A entries, this was good news to all seeing that the $50K guarantee was quickly dusted. For latecomers, there’s plenty of time to jump in with registration staying open for another five levels, closing at 6:20pm local time. Buy in for this hot event is $300 with blinds increasing every 30 minutes. For players that sign up at the last second, your 30K stack is still worth a healthy 20 BB.

In the event that you miss the Day 1B cutoff, or have fallen by the wayside during that heat, you are in luck as there is still one chance left to join the action. The Day 1C (Turbo) kicks off at 7pm. Blinds increase at a rapid 15 minute pace. Both qualifying rounds bag up at ITM, which is 15% of the field.

At this time, the player to size up to is Day 1A chip leader, Yu Qi Zhao who bagged up 390,000 (78 BB). 18 qualifiers await today’s results, each one guaranteed a slice of the pot.
