Ace Poker League’s return on Philippine soil signifies a highly remarkable event with the last advent of the brand dating back to five years ago. Running through this Sunday, December 3rd at 2Ace Poker, Pasay city, Metro Manila, players can expect a whole week of thrilling action with a total of twelve trophy events on schedule. The seven-day lineup will complete through PHP 25,000,000 (~USD 451,600) in combined festival guarantees, headlined by a juicy Main Event that takes up a bulk of that pot.
The crown jewel of the series stands to be the PHP 20,000,000 (~USD 361,280) guaranteed Main Event setting place today at 12 noon sharp. The anticipated tournament is set to play through four qualifying days listed at different price points and varying structures. Unlike its previous offerings, APL is taking a stab at this new format beginning with two pre-event flights that have since concluded.
The pre-event flights charged the least expensive buy-in available at PHP 30,000 (~USD 540) and ran 20 minute blind levels with a much shorter starting stack of 15,000. Only three runners out of the 34 entries combined, found their way into the Day 2 festivities.
