World Poker Championship US$ 1M GTD kicks off in two days at Grand Loyal Poker Club Hanoi – January 3 to 15

 

Excitement is in the air as the World Poker Championship (WPC) approaches. In collaboration with the Hanoi Series of Poker (HSOP), the much talked about event is set to hit the felt in two days, January 3, at the Grand Loyal Poker Club in Hanoi, Vietnam, and will run through January 15. Opening the new year with a loud bang, the brand sets the bar high featuring an ambitious US$ 1 Million in combined guarantees. All the information can be found in the links provided.

World Poker Championship stages richest Vietnam festival – US$ 1M guaranteed; Grand Loyal Poker Club from January 3 to 15 in Hanoi

If you are just hearing of the WPC, on its inaugural Vietnam run in September 2022, the brand shattered numerous country records including the Main Event with 1,020 entries and a prize pool of ₫17,809,200,000 (~US$ 751K). Overall, the series paid out ₫54.6 Billion (~US$ 2.3 Million) which was the richest in Vietnam at that time.

For the upcoming series, 24 trophy events are scheduled. The Main Event comes out strong with a ₫10 Billion guarantee (~US$ 423,100). This is ₫2 Billion more than previous. It runs from January 10 to 14 with four starting heats. Buy in has also been raised to ₫25,000,000 (~US$ 1,060).
