For those who enjoy tournaments and play most of their poker online, Bodog and Ignition are the places to be in August. The Super Millions Poker Open is currently underway, offering $4.5 million across the duration of a series which spans 139 separate events.
Super Millions Poker Open guarantees $5 million
Tournaments offer a kind of excitement which simply can’t be found in any other form of poker. When you take 139 of those enticing tournament opportunities and roll them up into a $4.5 million series, then you really have something to get poker players excited. The Super Millions Poker Open will be hosted on the PaiWangLuo Network between July 20th and August 20th, which means the series is entering its final two weeks now, and this is where you will be able to get involved in some bigger events, including the Main Event. Sites which are participating in the series include Ignition Casino, Bovada.lv, Bodog.com and Bodog.eu.
The total number of events has been boosted from 101 in 2018 and the series guarantee has also risen from $3.3 million last year. The series will feature a Mini Main Event with a $109 buy in and a $100,000 guarantee attached, with the much bigger Main Event being held later in the day on August 19th. The Main will be a $450 buy in tournament with an attractive guaranteed prize pool of $400,000.
Here are a few other key events to look out for:
- August 6th – Event 75: $215 Monster Stack ($50,000 guaranteed)
- August 7th – Event 79: $270 SS ($50,000 guaranteed)

If some of the buy ins for these events are outside your bankroll limits, don’t worry. Satellites can help you win a seat directly into the event of your choice, with many of these satellites still to run between now and the end of the series. The Main Event in particular, will have a high number of satellites running in the build up to its starting date.
About PaiWangLuo Network
PaiWangLuo has owned Bodog Poker Network since February 2017 and is an investment group based in Hong Kong. PaiWangLuo’s Bodog network was one of the few to continue offering poker in the USA after Black Friday and operates with four different skins: Ignition, Bovada, Bodog and Bodog88. All skins share their player traffic, making the network the sixth largest in the online poker world. Australian, American, Canadian and South American players can all get involved in this latest tournament series through either Ignition or Bodog.eu, while Asian players can join through Bodog88.
While this current tournament series may seem like a special, annual event, you might be surprised to know that on any given week of the year, this network offers $1.5 million in tournament guarantees and this is an area in which it really excels. With good player traffic, ambitious guarantees and all the usual promotional offers you might find on a competitive poker network, Bodog and Ignition are clearly solid choices for players who are not keen on or cannot access the leading few online poker networks. Also, as this latest tournament series shows, this network competes reasonably well with the larger networks when it comes to tournaments.
