Good news awaits those who missed this summer’s 53rd Annual World Series of Poker festivities in Las Vegas as the global brand makes its way to Europe for three weeks of nonstop action. Dates for the prestigious 2022 WSOP Europe have officially been announced to run from October 26 – November 16 at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, covering an exciting €12,000,000 in combined prize guarantees across 15 bracelet events. Buy-ins range from its lowest €350 for the NLH Opener to as high as €50,000 for the NLH Diamond High Roller tournament.

The €5M GTD Main Event which kicks off on November 11th, posts the largest guarantee on schedule for again, an entry fee of €10,350. Last year’s champion saw local player Josef Gulas Jr bag over €1.2M in winnings after defeating France’s Johan Guilbert in heads up play to clinch his title and career-best score. The latest concluded Main Event set a record 688-entry field, with attendance this year expected to see an increase given the more relaxed health situation.

We’re very excited to host the biggest and most prestigious tournament series with the biggest guarantees in Europe without any limitations and struggles of the past two years. Finally, also travel restrictions for players coming from the US have been lifted”, said King’s owner Leon Tsoukernik. “We’re all set to deliver first-class service and hospitality for all poker players at King’s.

2022/23 WSOP-C International

While waiting for the bracelet festival to begin, interested tournament runners can set their eyes on the 2022-2023 WSOP Circuit tour starting this September 21 at King’s Resort. So far, ten confirmed international stops have been revealed with each champion from the live and online circuit events receiving the highly coveted WSOP gold ring in addition to an entry into the invitation-only “Tournament of Champions” at the 2023 games.

The World Series of Poker is ready to go international once again,” said Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the World Series of Poker, Ty Stewart. “Poker is bigger than ever and there has been a recent run of international champions in our Main Events. We’re excited to bring the once-in-a-lifetime poker experiences of the WSOP-C and WSOP Europe back to transcontinental players.

The WSOP-C has been running for the past two decades with each stop typically featuring 12 official events in 12 days. Buy-ins range from $250 – $5,300 and highlights an eye-catching $1,700 entry fee NLH Main Event. While only ten international locations are currently listed, the major operator expects to add more stops as the season progresses.

WSOP U.S. Circuit Events are designed to give the recreational and amateur player an opportunity to participate in the WSOP experience at a more affordable price point and with less of a time commitment than the traditional WSOP in Las Vegas.

These poker tournaments are designed to reach a winner within two playing days, with some events even structured to complete in one day., noted WSOP in its press release.
