A brief review of WPC

In September last year, WPC made its groundbreaking debut in Hanoi, and it instantly became a record-breaking sensation. The inaugural event shattered Vietnam records, attracting 1,020 Main Event entries for a VND 17.8 Billion (~USD 748K) prize pool. Due to this, WPC quickly secured itself as one of the most sought after festivals in Asia.

This year, two WPC festivals have already been held at the Grand Loyal, one in January and another in late March. Like its inaugural run, both were roaring successes, paying out billions of VND to the Main Event champion in the equivalent of USD six figures. The next Main Event champion could be you!

What to expect at the upcoming WPC

As history has shown, the Korean-powered WPC has consistently packed the house, resulting in smashed guarantees and multi million US dollar festival prize pools. Players can expect no different for this edition with 33 events scheduled. Out of that lineup, eleven events feature guarantees with the star attraction Main Event boasting a minimum VND 10 Billion (~USD 425,000) prize pool.
