With total live earnings of USD 199,988, French poker player Yann Lormel is quickly making his way up the felt ladder. He has 52 recorded cashes, demonstrating his consistency at the poker tables.

Lormel’s biggest win came in 2022 when he participated in the DACH Masters Poker Open, placing first in the € 300 + 30 No-Limit Hold’em DACH Masters event, bagging a prize pot of €49,850 (USD 53,299).

Lormel made his first appearance in Asia in February 2024 at APT Taipei. He struck gold in the Hyper Turbo Double Board Event #46, placing 4th and winning NTD 34,000 (USD 1,077). The win was record-breaking for Lormel, who’d never cashed in an APT event. The 4th event had also drawn in the highest number of entries—665 (483 unique), making the win extra-special for the French player.
