Yan Li is a female poker player from China and since her first cash in 2013 is quickly rising up the ranks as being one of the most prominent poker players in her country as well as in Asia.

Yan Li who is said to be very patient and passionate about the game first cashed when she placed 9th in the 2013 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) Platinum Series Deepstack event.  Since then, she has been consistently in the money or part of the final table in different tournament circuits in Asia.  But she has made most of her mark in High Roller events, catching the attention of other poker players who now consider her a force to be reckoned with.

In 2015, she placed 5th in the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Seoul High Roller Event and cashed over USD$28,000.  The following year, in exactly the same event, Li won USD$67,283 for being in 2nd place.  A few months after this, at the 2016 APPT Manila High Roller Event, she finally found herself victorious in the High Roller Event and took home a whopping USD$74,889.

She recently placed 2nd in the 2016 ACOP Ladies Asia Championship Event for more than USD$11,000.
