Weekly tournaments often attract a large portion of regulars so it’s not really uncommon to see the same faces on the floor every time. What is unusual, however, is to see the same face posted as the champion of 4 consecutive tournaments.

Yes, you read that right! Elmo Celi has won 4 consecutive daily tournaments in PokerStars Live Manila, accumulating more than Php200,000($4119) in prize money in a span of 4 days.

Prior to this incredible winning streak, Elmo Celi’s biggest score was a Php96,000 ($1,977) win in an APPT side event.

Lester Edoc of Poker King Club is currently #1 in GPI rankings surpassing Andrew Gaw by 32 points. For 2016, Gaw, now in 2nd place, has only cashed 4 times as compared to last year’s accomplishments. On the other hand, Edoc managed to collect significant points these past three months with his excellent performance in the last APT & APPT Events High Roller events ( 3 final tables).

Save the date: Metro Card Club’s 500K Series $ PokerStars Live Manila Php 1M Gtd

Coming up soon is Metro Card Club’s 500K Series happening on October 21-23, 2016. The Series which guarantees Php500,000 has a buy-in of 2,200 + 1 re-entry.

October 22 – Day 1B at 3 PM
October 23 – Final Day at 3PM
