The world’s best professional poker players are not only rich in financials, but also in love. While many of them bask in the spotlight for their career titles winnings, their wives mostly show their support on the sidelines. But who are the lucky ladies who captured the hearts of our poker stars? Find out below as we give you the list of the Top 10 Male Poker Players’ Wives this 2024.

10. Phil Ivey – $38M

The last but not the least entry on the Top 10 Male Poker Players in the World list for 2024 is Phil Ivey, who has amassed a staggering $38 million in live winnings throughout his career. The 47-year-old poker pro won his first WSOP bracelet in 2000, and he earned more through the years, bringing his total number of bracelets to 10. He has also appeared at nine WPT final tables. 

His career highlights include winning the Aussie Millions $250,000 Challenge in January 2012 and becoming the first two-time winner of the event in 2014 and 2015. Away from the spotlight, Ivey married his high school sweetheart, Luciaetta, in 2002, while his career in the pro poker scene was picking up. Unfortunately, they ended up divorcing in 2009, with Luciaetta receiving more than $1.2 million, jewelry worth $1 million, and $180,000 a month in alimony as part of their settlement, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal. It’s not clear if Ivey is currently seeing someone.

9. Fedor Holz – $38M

Fedor Holz is a German professional poker player who took the global poker scene by storm in 2017 after reportedly earning over $23.3 million from live events at just 24 years old. Currently 31, Holz has already made an impact in the industry as he is now among the top ten poker pros of 2024, with his over $38 million accumulated winnings. 

In 2016, Fedor was quickly catapulted to poker superstardom after winning his first WSOP bracelet, a European Poker Tour high roller title, and three wins at the Aria Super/High Roller tournaments. When he won $45,000 from a No Limit Hold’em tourney in 2017, Forbes took notice and featured him as a promising player. When not playing professionally, he is coaching via his self-made online learning platform Pokercode. He is also a GGPoker ambassador, and he is married. Unfortunately, he has not disclosed the name of his wife. However, he does share photos of them on Instagram, including one taken on their wedding day.

8. Dan Smith – $41M

This New Jersey native only has one WSOP bracelet, but he still made it to this list with his estimated $41 million live winnings. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, however, considering that he has a WPT title, a championship event at the Aussie Millions, and he’s been playing poker since he was just 16 years old. Now 35, the former chess player has come a long way as a full-time poker pro, according to PokerNews. 

His first appearance on the live tournament circuit was in 2008, and he already pocketed $101,960 cash from the Heartland Poker Tour Verona $1,500 Main Event at the time. Between 2013 and 2022, he secured 19 tournament wins, including his first bracelet in the 25K Heads-Up Championship. Sadly, there’s no information about Smith’s love life online as he remains a very private person. There’s no word if he has a wife or a partner, but he does love showcasing the different tournaments he’s joined on his Instagram. 

7. David Peters – $42M

The seventh man on this list is the four-time WSOP bracelet winner David Peters. With over $42 million in career winnings, he places among the top ten on the all-time money list. Nicknamed “The Silent Assassin,” Peters has been playing both live and online real money poker games since 2003. He said he got very interested in the game after watching a lot of poker on TV back in the day. After winning his first freeroll tournament for $600, he got serious into grinding in the industry as a poker pro, as per Poker Listings.

Outside of poker rooms and away from the tables, David is said to be an easy-going guy who likes to watch sports, play basketball, and hang out with his friends and family, especially his wife, Hayley Hanna. He shares updates on both his private and career life on Instagram. Just recently he announced on the platform the imminent birth of his child with Hayley by sharing a snap of her baby bump while greeting her a Happy Birthday.

6. Erik Seidel – $42M

Though he may not be among the top 5 on this list, Erik Seidel is still one heck of an impressive poker pro, who has accumulated at least $42 million in winnings throughout his career. The 64-year-old has already been inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame due to his long list of professional poker successes, including his stints in the online poker industry. For a time, he used to represent one of the largest online poker sites in the world as a member of Team Full Tilt, according to Poker.org. 

The former Wall Street trader’s poker pro career seemingly peaked in 2011, when he bagged more than $6.5 million in winnings and landed number 1 on the all-time money list at the time. Seidel already has multiple WSOP bracelets, one of which was for the Super MILLION$ High Roller event at WSOP 2021—his ninth overall since he started collecting them in 1992. Despite his prolific career, Erik is a happily married man. He even likes spending time with his wife, Ruah, and their two daughters, Elian and Jamesin, per Gambling Times. Seidel likes documenting their life on his Instagram.

5. Jason Koon – $44M

The 38-year-old American poker pro from Weston, West Virginia, has already accomplished so much in his career and personal life. Jason Koon has a WSOP bracelet, and he has accumulated more than $44 million in winnings throughout his career. Outside of the poker rooms, he is happily married to his wife, Bianca. Mr. and Mrs. Koon are already parents to two kids, Calum and Cole. Jason even frequently shares snaps of their family bonding on his Instagram. 

Jason made headlines in 2023 after surprisingly bowing out of the WSOP because Bianca went into labor with their second child, Cole. He didn’t get to finish the $250,000 Super High Roller. However, everything turned out for the best as Bianca managed to deliver baby Cole successfully and Jason had enough time to head back to the Horseshoe Casino for the other tournaments.

4. Stephen Chidwick – $47M

British professional poker player Stephen Chidwick is not only lucky in his career, but also in his love life. The very private but quite talented poker pro is married to his wife Marine, whom he reportedly met in the late 2010s, according to PokerNews. Stephen and Marine have a daughter, whom they welcomed in 2019. 

The year 2019 seemed to be one of the best periods in Chidwick’s life. It was also in this year when he broke the curse of not having a marquee live win despite being regarded as one of the greats until 2018. Stephen secured the biggest win of his career at the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller for $1,618,417 and brought home his first WSOP bracelet, per PGT.

The renowned Canadian poker pro, who has won six WSOP Bracelets and two WPT championship titles, has definitely found love. And he even found it twice. Yes, the most recognizable poker faces in the world was married twice. His first marriage was with Lori Lin Weber, which ran from 2005 to 2007. Their short-lived union gave Weber a taste of the limelight, and she’s become a relatively popular personality because of it, per Gutshot Magazine.

Years after going through divorce, Negreanu, whose total winnings exceed $52 million, found love again and tied the knot with actress Amanda Leatherman in 2019. The two are still together and remain happily married. Amanda even proudly shows off photos of them together on her Instagram account. Aside from appearing in the comedy-horror “Detention” in 2011, Leatherman has appeared on “The PokerStars.Net Big Game,” “World Poker Tour,” and “No Gamble, No Future” as host, based on her IMDb profile.

2. Bryn Kenney – $57M

Bryn Kenney, who is embroiled in cheating allegations, remains to be one of the all-time poker money leaders with his $56 million in live tournament cashes. For 2024, he is the second best male poker player in the world with a total of $57 million winnings. Despite his success in the pro poker scene, Kenney remains unmarried at 37.

It is worth noting that Kenney was previously romantically linked to Ana Marquez, the no. 2 female poker pro in the history of Spain with more than $365k in career cashes. She even credited him for taking her game to the next level in an interview with Global Poker Index. According to her, she improved her skill in tournaments after watching Kenney play online. When they got together, he became her “number one teacher” and he “changed my game completely.”

1. Justin Bonomo – $61M

Dubbed the “Romeo with many Juliets,” Justin Bonomo is known in the poker community not just for his massive winnings, but also for his many wives and partners. A self-proclaimed polyamorist, the best poker player for 2024 resides in a luxury penthouse in a Las Vegas Strip skyscraper with his ladies. According to Trademate Sports, Bonomo strongly believes that one should have several romantic partners at the same time to enjoy life. The names of his partners are not publicly available, but fans can see him flaunting his relationships on his Instagram from time to time.

Career-wise, Bonomo started playing at the young age of 16. He has since established himself among the world greats in the poker industry, setting a record-breaking run in 2018 after winning $25 million in that year alone. It’s in this same year when he snagged $10 million from the $1,000,000 No Limit Hold’em – The Big One for One Drop WSOP. As of late, he has won 55 cashes, three bracelets, and one circuit ring.
