The industry’s fastest growing platform is back this time with its biggest high stakes festival to date. Running until March 7, 2021 on the Natural8 – GGPoker Network, the 8-day Super MILLION$ is currently underway with an astounding line up of 31 events. The highly followed series covers a combined total of $30,000,000 in guaranteed prizes with its Main Event alone posting a $10 million prize pool.
An exciting time for high rollers, buy-ins are much steeper than usual with the minimum buy-in sitting at $108 to as high as $25,500 for its Super High Roller events. While many recreational and mid-stakes players may feel excluded from the expensive games, multiple feeder tournaments and satellites are running around the clock for as low as $10.
Bigger than ever Super MILLION$ $10M Main Event
Given most of the events are already as interesting as it is, the star of the series is the $10,000,000 Main Event set to conclude on March 9. One out of the four starting flights has recently concluded with the remaining three scheduled for tomorrow, March 6 and 7, 2021. With a lot of opportunities to make it to day two, the buy-in does not come cheap with each entry requiring $10,300 for a chance to compete for the juiciest top prize of the festival.
A lot of gameplay is in store for players as the tournament begins with every participant having 100,000 chips on the table and the blinds increasing every 20 minutes. At the end of level 22, surviving players of each flight will bring their best stack forward to day two on March 8. The last nine players to make up the final table will play the following day for the mammoth-sized seven-figure score up top.
Last year’s events saw Belgian pro Davidi Kitai landing the $726,839 win after outlasting a field of 581 players. The tournament garnered a prize pool of well above $5 million with pros such as Mike Watson and Niklas Astedt grazing the final table for an outstanding run. Although the payout itself is impressive as it is, this week’s festivities will bring a top prize of close to double that of Kitai’s with the Main Event having a much higher guarantee of $10 million.
So far, 41 players from the first flight have made it to day two with a total of 325 entries recorded to date.
