Microgaming Poker Network Player Traffic on the Rise

With numerous promotions and initiatives coming into effect recently, Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) has seen a positive response from customers as player traffic increases. While the network remains unlikely to threaten big names such as PokerStars, 888Poker and Bodog anytime soon, it has certainly made significant gains according to PokerScout, who are the leading authority on network traffic. MPN has averaged 855 concurrent players at the cash game tables over the last week, which has seen them surpass their rival network iPoker on 852. This is the first time in almost 10 years that MPN has overtaken their fiercest competitor.

PKR addition helps MPN target PartyPoker

MPN already has several Betsson brands under its umbrella, along with 32Red, BetVictor and 24h Poker. The network is also offering a large selection of casino games (Overview here: http://www.puremicrogaming.com/)

The recent addition of PKR has further bolstered its stable. With this boost, and PartyPoker experiencing a slight traffic downswing at the end of a promotional period, MPN may yet have a fresh target in its sights. One thing is for certain, gains made in a time when global online poker traffic is stagnating represent important steps forward. This is indicative of a bright future for MPN.
