How to qualify online to the Macau Millions?

The PokerStars Live Macau room will be hosting the Macau Millions between January 8th and 18th, and if you have plans to buy in directly instead of making use of the satellites, the buy in is HK$3,000 with the prize pool guarantee being set at HK$3,000,000.

$3000 added to the Satellites between December 7th and 27th

Between now and late December, Pokerstars are offering players the chance to win their seat online to the Macau Millions. Satellites are mostly in the form of $3-$4 rebuys, and $15 or $55 freezeouts. The fields should be a little softer than usual in the run up to Christmas, so it's probably the best time to try and satellite into a major live event.

Between December 7th and 27th, USD$3,000 will also be added to these satellites, with further details being available in the “Live Events” tab on PokerStars. There will be a grand total of 50 seats on offer in the run up to this event, with the schedule being planned out with Asian time zones in mind. The smaller rebuy satellites are running regularly on Pokerstars, with the freezeout events already added to the schedule for designated days in the coming weeks.

$5 million GTD Sunday Million

Other upcoming events on PokerStars include a very special Sunday Million on December 27th, with a guaranteed prize pool that has been boosted from USD$1 million, to an ambitious looking USD$5 million. This tournament will have the same usual USD$215 buy in, and satellites are running in the build up to the tournament, with some of them costing only $1. The 1st prize is currently guaranteed at USD$500,000 but should end up rising well beyond that.

Daily Double Jackpot Series

In other PokerStars news, there have been a number of promotions running through November and December, including the advent calendar, and the Daily Double Jackpot Series. The Daily Double potentially offers one lucky player the chance to win $1 million. With two designated tournaments in each buy in range running each day, and the requirements being to win both tournaments in a given day, you will to be very lucky to claim the Jackpot. The odds are long, but the tournaments themselves are enjoyable for players who enjoy huge field Holdem events.

Keep a close eye on Pokerstars for more festive promotions, and satellite events, over the coming weeks.
