With the Aussie Millions now a part of the APPT, the tour looks set to go from strength to strength. This fact is further underlined by the fact that Pokerstars are adding their muscle to bringing new qualifiers into the festival via online satellites. APPT President Danny McDonagh has stated his hope, and belief, is that the Aussie Millions Main Event will see more than 700 unique entries.
There are a few things that players should bear in mind with regards to the Aussie Millions. The currency value is falling, which makes it cheaper to play. The value of the buy in is currently at USD7,643. The record for the most Pokerstars qualifiers in an Aussie Millions field stands at 133, but with all of the Mega Satellites yet to run, there are already 78 qualifiers registered for this year's event.
