8 Max Survivor 2K Bounty to ITM ($1,000)

The second of three 8 Max Survivor $2K Bounty heats has come to a close with its 192-entry field whittled down to 24 players. Ten hours of play ran through before ITM was reached, with China's Xin Tang capping the day with the lead.

Tang added a third onto his stack after delivering Marc Joseph's bubble elimination, and closed the flight with a bag of 576,000. Ukraine's Yakiv Syzghanov trails closely behind with 573,000, joined by three more runners above the 500K mark. Day 1A chip leader Ankit Wadhawan continues to reign, with his towering 970,000 stack a far stretch from everyone else.

Other notables advancing through include Xiaosheng Zheng (528,000), Renji Mao (474,000), Dhaval Mudgal (314,000), and Tom Verbruggen (126,000).

Final Day action kicks off tomorrow 11:30, local time, with all Day 1 survivors returning to the felt already guaranteed a share of the $227,513 prize pool.

Xin Tang opened utg+1, called by David Copeland on the button. Marc Joseph on the big blind, stuffed his last 94,000 (9 BB) and was called by both opponents right on bubble time.

Action on board 4♣ Q♣ K♠ K♦ J♦ was checked all the way to showdown, earning Tang the pot with a straight while Joseph bowed out as the stone cold bubble.

Jeremy Jehanne open shoved 128,000 (13 BB) on the cutoff and was looked up by Xiaosheng Zheng on the small blind.

Flipping for his tournament life, Jehanne escaped bubble elimination, having found a pair on board Q♠ 6♠ 5♥ J♣ 4♥ .

Quan Qiu opened utg and saw Yakiv Syzghanov on the big blind complete.

On board 3♠ K♥ 9♦ 8♦ , Qiu double barreled - 15,000 and 45,000, with Syzghanov check calling both streets. Qiu pulled the trigger on river 2♠ , and sent Syzghanov deep in the tank.

Syzghanov eventually found the call with top pair K♦ 5♣ for his remaining 207,000 (16 BB), and locked in the double up as Qiu flipped over a busted draw 7♦ 4♦ .

Thi Hue Dang shoved 95,500 on the small blind against a late position open and saw the initial raiser rise to the challenge.

Dang ahead, secured the double up just as board K♦ J♠ 5♥ 6♦ T♦ left his opponent behind all the way.

Najeem Ajez stuffed his remaining 110,500 on the button and was challenged by Cao Ngoc Anh on the big blind.

Cao in search of an ace, found none on board 7♥ 2♥ 4♦ 4♣ 7♠ , shipping Ajez the 29 big blinds in the middle.

The tournament clock has been paused with 25 players remaining seated across the Day 1B games. One more elimination is due before the flight wraps up, 24 survivors of which are guaranteed a payday.

David Copeland shoved 118,000 (15 BB) against an utg open, and was followed by two more all-ins behind - Sechariah Quek and Ankit Ahuja (194,000). Initial raiser opted out, leaving the three to run the cards.

Copeland as the underdog, scooped a clean triple up as board T♥ A♥ 8♣ 9♠ Q♦ ran him a straight for the win. Quek took the side pot for his two pair while Ahuja found his kings flying towards the muck.

With three more eliminations to go, Azizjon Rakhimov risked his entire 220,000 (27 BB) with A♥ Q♥ on the hijack, and found himself dominated against his button opponent's A♦ K♥ .

Board J♣ 7♥ 3♣ 9♣ 3♥ ran dry for both and sent Rakhimov out with his weaker ace.

Neng Zhao opened in late position and called off his entire 248,000 (31 BB) after Renji Mao moved all-in on the small blind.

Mao dominated, forked over a huge chunk of his stack, having failed to improve on board J♥ K♣ 4♠ A♥ 5♦ .

Tien Vu Do flicked in his last 27,500 (3 BB) on the cutoff and saw Tom Verbruggen push likewise on the small blind for a bigger 60,000 (7 BB). Daniel Charlton right behind, put in the final call, making it a three way showdown.

Board J♥ K♥ 6♣ 8♥ 5♥ ran four hearts, which neither of the three had in their hands, leaving Verbruggen's top set good to take it all.

Day 1B is close to wrapping up with 30 players remaining in battle. Only 24 runners are guaranteed a spot into Day 2, which means only six more eliminations are due before bagging time.

With a pot of 95,000 in the middle across board 9♠ Q♣ 4♥ K♦ 3♠ , Azizjon Rakhimov made a final attempt for it with a bet of 40,000 on the button. Thi Hue Dang check jammed, and Rakhimov called off for his remaining 46,500.

Xiaosheng Zheng raised all-in following an early open and saw Frank Lillis on the small blind, call off for his 175,000 (29 BB) stack.

Running a flip, board K♥ 3♣ 7♥ 6♦ T♥ this time, fell in favor of the overcards, busting Lillis in the process.

Le Ngoc Minh shoved his last 34,500 (6 BB) utg and saw Xin Tang push likewise. No one else joined the action, leaving the two to run board 9♦ 3♠ J♠ Q♥ 3♣ .

Tang secured the win with two pair, eliminating Le from the Day 1B games.

Facing a cutoff open and a button call from Yongjia Lin, Renji Mao on the small blind, squeezed all-in for 325,000 (54 BB), and was tank called by Lin with his pocket pair.

In for a flip, Mao locked in the lead as board 7♥ K♣ 7♠ A♦ Q♣ landed him two pair for the win.

Having won a pot off Amin Riyazati just minutes before, Yongjia Lin was seen in a clash against his compatriot once more.

With 140,000 in the middle on board Q♠ J♠ 2♠ 9♠ , Lin check called a 45,000 bet from Riyazati, and arrived at showdown shortly after no more bets went in on river 9♥ .

Lin showed nut flush A♠ K♠ and banked another win.

With action right on the bounty bubble, Patrik Demus open shoved 56,000 (11 BB) and was called by Suguru Sawada on the big blind.

Demus ahead, unfortunately, bound for the exit as board A♥ A♣ T♠ 5♦ K♥ rolled trip aces for his opponent.

Pradeep Nudurumati pushed his last 39,500 (8 BB) utg and was looked up by Mario Fata right on the big blind.

Nudurumati at risk, held on to his seat, having found a pair of kings on the river A♠ 7♠ 6♥ J♣ K♣ to take it down.

Jeremy Jehanne open shoved 39,000 (8 BB) on the hijack and saw Andres Vasquez take the spot on the button.

Jehanne in rough shape, dodged a potential elimination, having spiked a queen on board Q♣ A♥ 5♣ 6♠ 7♦ to survive through.

David Copeland flicked in his last 38,000 (7 BB) on the hijack and was called by Le Ngoc Minh on the button.

In for a race, Copeland kept ahead all through board A♣ K♣ 8♠ A♦ K♦ to continue on as the knockout phase draws near.

Having just doubled through Daniel Charlton, Amin Riyazati picked up another pot two deals later and reclaimed the lead following the bust.

Jon Kyte risked his entire 158,000 (31 BB) with A♣ K♥ and was eyeing a split pot against Riyazati's same A♠ K♦ . The board 2♠ 6♠ K♠ 7♠ 5♣ however, ran four spades, offering Riyazati the nut flush while Kyte stepped out of the tournament arena.

Hugo Machado opened 10,000 utg+1, followed by a 28,000 three bet from Jon Kyte on the hijack. Amin Riyazati on the button, made it 60,000 to go, earning him the pot straight away.

Daniel Charlton opened 10,000 utg+1 and saw Amin Riyazati defend his big blind.

On board 9♦ T♠ 6♥ A♣ , Charlton double barreled - 15,000 and 55,000, leaving Riyazati unable to continue by the turn.

Kimlong Lam opened utg+1 and called a 26,000 three bet from Tom Verbruggen on the small blind.

Both players checked flop 6♥ 5♥ 3♦ through to turn A♣ , where Verbruggen led 17,000. Lam called behind, and went on to barrel 65,000 on river 8♣ checked to him. Verbruggen slipped the fold, saving his 18 BBs behind.

Suguru Sawada opened utg+1 and gladly called off Robert Sherwood's 49,000 (12 BB) all-in from the big blind.

Sherwood drawing slim, headed out as board A♥ T♥ Q♥ 5♥ J♦ left him behind all the way.

Harsh Bubna open jammed his last 60,000 (15 BB) in on the cutoff and was looked up by Jon Kyte right behind.

Gunning for overcards, Kyte found not one but two on board 8♦ K♠ 2♠ 9♦ Q♦ , more than enough to knock out his opponent.

A button vs blind battle saw Shiina Okamoto commit her remaining 76,000 (19 BB) and was up against Suguru Sawada's pocket pair for a flip.

Board 5♦ A♦ K♣ T♠ 7♦ landed in favor of the overcards, shipping Okamoto a nice boost.

Arjun Agrawal opened 8,000 on the hijack, and was called by both Najeem Ajez on the button along with Sechariah Quek on the big blind.

Action on flop 7♦ 9♦ 6♥ was checked to Ajez, pushing him to fire 16,000. Quek called, and Agrawal decided to bump it up further to 66,000. Ajez put in the call, and was met with all-in back for 246,000 from Quek. Agrawal reshoved and Ajez stepped away from it all.

Sho Homma opened on the hijack, followed by a 29,000 three bet from Andres Vasquez on the small blind. Erwan Regnault right behind, squeezed all-in for 82,500 (20 BB) and saw Homma push likewise. Vasquez opted out, leaving the two to showdown.

Crushed against the rockets, Regnault managed to turn the tables as board 8♣ 6♥ 5♦ Q♣ Q♦ ran him trip queens to survive through.

Xin Yuan opened 6,000 on the hijack and was met with a 16,000 three bet from Sechariah Quek right behind. Yuan made it 40,000 to go and Quek completed.

On flop 5♠ 4♥ 2♥ , Yuan continued for 22,000, yet folded after Quek responded with an all-in.

Shiina Okamoto defended her big blind against Yakiv Syzghanov's 5,000 cutoff open, and check called another 4,500 on flop A♣ 8♥ 2♥ . On turn 5♦ , Okamato gave up the fight as Syzghanov fired a heftier 13,000.

Mario Arrocha stuffed his last 20,800 (8 BB) on the hijack and was looked up by Xin Tang on the button.

Arrocha dominated, headed out shortly after board 2♣ 2♠ 6♦ 9♥ 5♠ offered no chops.

Marc Joseph sent out a three bet on the button against an early open and saw Patrik Selin on the big blind, raise all-in for 57,000 (23 BB). Joseph gladly obliged, putting Selin at risk against the ladies.

Board J♠ 9♦ 7♣ J♥ 8♦ steered clear of any aces, leaving Selin bound for the exit.

A blind vs blind battle brewed a pot of 63,500 in the middle on board 6♦ 9♦ 8♠ Q♥ . Khurshid Zaynutdinov led all-in for 62,400 and Arjun Agrawal made the call behind.

Rakhimov continued for 3,500 on flop 6♣ A♠ 5♦ and Lee called once more. Both checked turn 3♦ through to river Q♣ , where Rakhimov went for a final 21,000. Lee surrendered, shipping his opponent the boost.

Siarhei Chudapal opened 2,600 on the hijack and was called by Yiannis Liperis on the button.

On board 6♥ 7♦ 6♠ T♣ , Chudapal check called two streets - 4,500 and 6,000, yet let it go on river 6♣ as Liperis gunned for a final 31,000.

Following an open and a call, Jianbin Shao squeezed all-in on the small blind for 12,900 (13 BB), and saw initial raiser Francesco Vasquez push likewise.

There was roughly 13,000 in the middle on board K♣ 2♥ Q♦ Q♣ when Patrik Selin led out a bet of 4,000 on the big blind. Utg raiser made the call, and faced a raise to 30,000 from Todd Hansen on the small blind. Both opponents slipped the fold and Hansen picked up the boost.

Up against a late position open and a call, Shanhui Li squeezed on the big blind to 6,600, and was called by Pablo Garcia on the button.

Maxim Kuznetsov opened utg and went on to four bet 11,100 against Elvijs Kuceruks' button raise. Kuceruks completed, and faced a 10,100 cbet on flop J♥ 4♥ 6♥ from his opponent. Kuceruks answered with an all-in, and Kuznetsov gladly obliged as he pushed his last 14,300 in the middle.

Van Tien Dinh opened on the hijack and was met with a 3,000 three bet from Jia Yi Low right beside. Aladin Reskallah cold called on the button, and Dinh clicked back to 11,000. Only Reskallah completed, yet quickly folded after Dinh continued for 10,000 on flop K♦ 3♦ 5♠ .
