Dong Li raised all-in on the small blind and saw Dingding Guan behind, make the call for his tournament life (2,600,000). Dominated, Li continued his descent as board 6♦ A♣ 9♣ 5♥ Q♣ secured the double up for his opponent with top pair.

Dong Li opened utg, and was met with two all-ins - Dingding Guan (1,400,000) and Yong Li (3,400,000). Li opted out and the two ran board 5♣ 2♦ 4♣ 4♠ Q♦ . Guan shipped the double up with his better pocket pair, and left Li shooting down to the bottom of the ranks.

With 720,000 already in the middle across board Q♦ 7♣ 3♦ 5♦ , action was seen on Dong Li with a bet of 350,000. Dingding Guan on the big blind, check raised to 800,000, yet folded after Li moved all-in.

Dingding Guan opened on the button and saw Hongshuang Hu defend his big blind. On flop T♥ 8♦ 7♦ , Hu led 150,000, called by the raiser. Turn T♠ was checked by both to river 4♠ . Hu checked to Guan, who opted to bet 325,000. Hu put in the call with 7♣ 6♣ , good against Guan's busted flush draw A♦ 5♦ .

Dingding Guan opened 160,000 on the button and saw both players on the blinds put in the call. Flop K♦ 3♦ 8♣ was checked round to turn 7♣ , where Baojie Lin led for 160,000. Only Hongshuang Hu continued to river 3♠ , where he bet a final 280,000. Lin check called, only to muck as Hu revealed two pair K♣ T♣ .

A preflop back and forth between Dingding Guan and Zhongyao Li saw the latter make the final call for his entire 1,300,000. Running a classic flip, Li missed to find any of his overcards on board 7♥ 2♥ J♣ 4♥ T♣ , knocking him out from the Main Event games entirely.

Dingding Guan stuffed his 225,000 stack in from the hijack with A♣ 8♦ and faced Chenxiang Miao's A♦ 7♦ behind. In search of a double up, Guan managed to claim one as his opponent missed to find a third diamond on board Q♦ 9♦ 2♠ 3♣ K♠ .
