Andrew Matahira opened on the hijack, and Ng Kwok Chun called for his last 115,000, along with big blind Chuang Hao to complete the action. Board J♥ 9♦ 2♥ A♥ J♠ was checked to the river, where Matahira bet 105,000. Hao laid it down, revealing Matahira's trip jacks J♣ T♠ , crushing Ng's K♥ K♣ by the river.

A three way raised pot led by Baojie Lin dealt flop K♥ T♥ J♦ . Lin continued for 130,000, check called by Chuang Hao on the big blind. Both checked turn J♠ and river 9♦ to showdown, revealing Hao's rivered straight Q♣ T♣ for the pot.

Hongshuang Hu opened to 120,000 utg, called behind by Chuang Hao along with the big blind. On flop K♠ 3♣ 3♥ , Hu continued for 100,000, and was met with a raise from Hao to 225,000. Hu completed and faced another 250,000 bet on turn J♠ from his opponent. This time, Hu check raised all-in for 835,000 total, and shipped the pot after Hao tank folded.

A limp pot blind vs blind dealt flop K♥ Q♠ 4♣ . Chuang Hao led 30,000, called behind by Yong Li. On turn 5♥ , Hao opted to check call 55,000, and tank fold river 2♣ after Li fired a final 55,000.

Off to a rough start, Baofeng Zhang fired a 100,000 three bet from the big blind against Chuang Hao, and saw the latter call for another battle. Jie Zheng fired an 85,000 three bet vs Hao Chuang's hijack open, and called off his remaining 60,000 after Hao moved all-in. In for a race, Zheng secured the double up as a dry board 7♥ 6♦ 4♣ 7♦ 7♣ left his ace high good for the pot.

Chuang Hao sent out a 90,000 three bet on the big blind vs a button open from Baofeng Zhang and saw the latter complete. On flop 8♠ 3♠ 7♥ , Zhang called another 75,000, revealing turn J♥ . Hao this time, check raised all-in for 612,000 after Zhang put in a hefty bet of 275,000. Zhang burned three time banks and eventually folded, shipping Hao not only the pot, but also his chip lead status.
