The last tournament at WPT Korea 2024 wrapped up with Thomas Boivin bagging the WPT High Roller title after defeating American pro Stanley Weng in heads up play. Boivin kicked off the final games with a healthy stack and started the final duel with a 2:1 advantage. Once with the lead, Boivin did not relinquish his advantage and secured the victory all the way to the end, taking with him the KRW 218,520,000 top payout, trophy, as well as a WPT High Roller Ring.

Button Zhou Quan open shoved for 1,300,000 with Q♦ J♥ and was called by Thomas Boivin with 6♦ 6♠ . Flipping for his tournament life, Zhou headed for the rails after the board 5♣ J♣ 3♦ 4♦ 7♣ ran a one card straight for his opponent.

Small blind Noda Hiroyuki shoved his last 950,000 in with 5♥ 5♦ , called by big blind Zhou Quan with Q♠ J♣ . At risk, Noda instantly flopped a set on 2♠ 7♣ 5♠ K♦ T♥ to secure the double up.

Button Stanley Weng opened to 110,000 with A♣ 6♣ , joined by big blind Zhou Quan with K♦ 5♦ . On flop 6♠ Q♠ J♥ , Zhou check raised to 185,000, called by Weng. Turn came another Q♣ and Zhou check folded after Weng pulled a 200,000 bet.

Small blind Tang Tianyuan open shoved his last 460,000 in with K♦ Q♦ and was called by big blind Zhou Quan with K♠ K♥ . At risk, Tang failed to catch up on board Q♥ 8♥ 9♠ 3♣ 4♦ , knocking him out as the money bubble.

Cutoff Zhou Quan opened to 65,000 with A♠ T♥ and called off small blind Stanley Weng’s 380,000 all-in. Weng is ahead with A♦ J♣ and secured the double up after the board ran 4♣ 9♦ Q♠ A♥ Q♣ .

Button Zhou Quan defended his open with 9♣ 8♣ and called a 180,000 three bet from Valeriy Pak with T♦ T♣ . On flop 9♦ 7♠ 4♣ , Pak sent out a 125,000 bet, called by Zhou. Turn 7♦ this time, saw Pak check call for 225,000 and another 575,000 on river 4♦ . Zhou shows a flush to ship the pot.

Cutoff Zhao Jiaming opened to 40,000, followed by a three bet to 120,000 from button Zhou Quan. Zhao answered with a four bet to 270,000 and Zhou stuffs his big stack in. Zhao gives it up and folds.
