Cutoff Chu Chi Jen open shoved 360,000 with 4♠ 4♣ and was called by Toma Tsugunari with A♣ T♠ . Running a flip, the board peeled K♥ 6♣ 8♦ K♠ Q♣ , leaving Chu’s pocket pair to hold up.

After eleven hours of play, China’s Yu Lei overcame the 65-entry field and defeated fellow countryman Zhou Quan to secure the victory. A roller coaster heads up duel saw Yu drop down to 5 BB and bag the win in just under an hour. Yu earns the KRW 181,250,000 top payout, WPT Korea trophy, and WPT High Roller Ring for his impressive performance.
