After the ICM chop that both players agreed upon, the battle for the commenced and in the very first hand, Vietnam’s Tran Cong Huan raises to 200,000 from D/SB and got re-raised to 500,000 by heads up opponent Jhon Hendri of Indonesia. Tran 4-bets all-in and Hendri, who barely covers Tran, makes the call.


Tran turns over K 8 while Hendri is elated to table A 8 .


The runout goes: Q Q T 5 9 as Jhon Hendri wins the title and Tran is officially the runner-up.

Tran Cong Huan and Jhon Hendri have reached an agreement and here are the details:


The players have expressed their intention to merge the current prizes still at stake and the undrawn bounties. Originally first place pays US$14,500 and second plays US$9,600. Plus the remaining bounties are one (1) US$1,000 envelope and one (1) US$500 envelope.


The sum of all is US$25,600 hence each player receives US$12,800 and will play for the trophy.
