The flop is 4♣ 9♦ Q♦ as Kwak checks. Nguyen CBets 1,100 and gets called. The turn is the A♣. The Korean checks again and Nguyen unloads 3,000. Kwak still calls. The river is the 2♣ and both players take it to showdown.

Kwak shows Q♥ 7♣ for top pair on the flop while the Vietnamese player tables A♠ 8♠ for top pair on the turn.

In Blind versus Blind action, Vietnam lady player Quynh Thuy raises from the SB to 500 and gets called in the BB by Nguyen Duc Thanh.

The flop is A♣ 7♦ 2♠ as Quynh continues for 1,000. Nguyen calls. The turn is the K♥ as Quynh fires again, this time for 2,000. Nguyen then bumps it up to 6,000 and Quynh releases her hand into the muck.

The action is folded to the D where Vietnam poker icon Hoang Hai Nam raises to 300 and gets called by fellow Vietnamese players in Quynh Thuy in the SB and Nguyen Duc Thanh in the BB.

The flop is 3♦ A♠ 4♠ as the blinds check it back to Hoang, who continues for 300 anew. Quynh calls but Nguyen raises it to 1,400 and it’s enough to take down the pot.

Lee progresses on second bullet

After being the first bust out in Flight B, Korea’s Lee Jang Kyu uses his new artillery by getting involved in the +2 position against Nguyen Duc Thanh of Vietnam who is in the SB.

The pot is already at 2,300 and the flop of A♣ 5♦ 8♠ draws a bet from Nguyen to 800 and is called by Lee. The turn is the 2♠ as Nguyen now checks. The Korean unloads 3,000 and is still called. The river is the 7♦ and this time, both players check.

Nguyen shows Q♠ Q♣ while Lee outflopped him with A♠ J♥. Lee is now building on his second stack.

Evgenii Zaitsev opens from the CO for 1,600 and is met with a 3-bet jam from the SB of Vietnam’s Nguyen Duc Thanh for 23,800. Zaitsev makes the call quickly.

It is heads up to the river of the 9♣ as this time, Nguyen checks. Lee unloads a bet of 5,000 which gets no call from his Vietnamese opponent.

Lee Byung Soo of Korea raises to 1,000 from the +1 position and gets callers in the blinds in Nguyen Duc Thanh (SB) and Nguyen Quang Huy (BB), both from Vietnam.

The flop is 2♥ 5♣ 2♣ as the blinds check it back to Lee who CBets it to 2,200. Both Vietnamese players.

Freda Antonio raises from UTG to 400 and the action is folded to the CO where Nguyen Duc Thanh of Vietnam 3-bets to 1,500. Antonio makes the call.

The flop comes J♥ A♥ K♠ as Antonio checks. Nguyen fres 1,500 again and gets called. The turn is the 8♣ and Antonio checks again. Nguyen unloads 4,000 as Antonio check-raises all-in. Nguyen quickly puts his remaining 12,300 in the middle for the call.

Anotnio shows A♣ Q♣ for top pair and a Broadway draw while Nguyen tables K♦ K♣ for middle set on the flop. The river is the 9♣ as the Vietnamese player doubles up and sends Antonio’s stack spiraling down to a mere 1,300.
