The Day 3 games wrapped up with the final eight out of its 642 entry field in place, led by China’s Jianting Cai. Cai stormed up the ranks right at the last deal, and bagged a chart-topping stack of nearly six million to lead the final rounds. An eye-catching KRW 243,800,000 (~USD 174,470) top prize remains at stake, where one will rise to victory over today's battle.

Today's Red Dragon Championship Day 3 action has officially wrapped up following just four hours on the floor with the final eight players advancing onto the last stage. Only 24 runners made their way back to the scene, each looking to secure a spot into the final table. China's Jianting Cai, who started the day bottom of the ranks, was off to a great start, having caught a double up right on the first hand, to eventually stack the lead over the remaining eight. Cai delivered the final blow with his pocket kings crushing Cheng Chen just a few deals into the final round. The crucial boost propelled Cai right up the top, ending the day with 5,905,000 (74 BB), joined by fellow Chinese runner Zehao Li with 5,375,000 (67 BB) at the summit of the leaderboard.

Action resumes tomorrow, December 1st, 12 noon, where a winner will lay claim to the KRW 243,800,000 (~USD 174,470) top prize at stake.

Valery Li opened on the button and called a 200,000 three bet from big blind Ye Li. On flop A♣ 4♣ 6♥ , Ye Li bet 150,000, and followed with an all-in for 240,000 on turn 9♥ . Valery Li called one street but gave it up after Ye Li proceeded with aggression.

A blind vs blind battle landed 95,000 in the middle before flop 8♦ A♠ Q♦ rolled on the felt. Lei Yu led for 65,000, and gunned for another 80,000 on turn A♦ , with Ye Li behind calling him down on both streets. On river J♦ , Yu tank folded after Li moved all-in for his last 94,000.

With a 54,000 pot centered around flop 9♦ 7♥ 9♠ , Zijian Zhao had already put 50,000 in yet was deep in the tank after Ye Li behind, moved all-in for 33,000 more. Zhao eventually found a fold with T♥ T♣ and stood happy with his decision as Li revealed K♠ K♣ .

Jian Gong opened to 2,500 on the cutoff, followed by a raise to 7,000 from Ye Li a seat after. Jin Xudong on the big blind, put in the call along with Gong, revealing flop A♥ 2♣ K♦ . Action checked round to turn 5♠ , where Jin led 8,500. Both opponents were left unable to continue, shipping the win over to Jin.

With 18,800 in the middle on flop 7♦ 8♠ 6♠ , action checked to Ye Li, who bet 8,000. Small blind put in the call, followed by an all-in for 52,200 total from Jiang Pu right behind. Both opponents threw in the fold, shipping Pu a boost just before the break.
