Finishing Runner-Up in Flight A on Sunday and entering the final day as 5th in chips, Jeffrey Ponce continued to chip up throughout the day, making it to the final table as 4th in chips. Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

Kicking off the action with a 166,000 jam from UTG with T♦ 9♦ , Alvares Janno gets called by Vivencio Nachor Jr. from BB holding 3♣ A♥ . The suited connectors hit on T♥ 9♠ K♦ 3♠ Q♥ to gift a double up.

With a 20,000 open from Yuki Nishio in CO we see SB Vivencio Nachor Jr. pump it up to 55,000 to see the flop 3♥ Q♦ 9♣ heads up. A 20,000 c-bet and a call take us to the turn 2♥ for another continuation of 75,000 to go into the middle. With the aid of a time bank, Yuki Nishio finds the call to see the river J♠ . Another 150,000 from Vivencio Nachor Jr. gets called by Yuki Nichio, holding 3♠ 3♣ and the aggressor's cards go straight into the muck.

Tony Khoang kicks off the action with a 30,000 open from HJ with BB Vivencio Nachor Jr. defending to see the flop 2♠ 4♣ Q♥ . A 15,000 continuation gets raised to 40,000 and Tony Khoang goes in the tank. After some deliberation, Khoang lets it go and throws a time bank in the dealers general direction.

A quick all-in from UTG Ngoc Vu for 39,000 holding 2♣ 2♠ and an even quicker call from SB Vivencio Nachor Jr. with Q♣ Q♠ the dealer tables K♠ 4♥ 8♦ 9♦ 5♠ and grants Vivencio Nachor Jr. a P50,000 bounty.

Picking up the action on the river 7♠ 3♠ 4♣ 8♠ 9♣ and 65,000 in the pot, we see Rintalahti Jussi check-call all-in 26,000 with K♠ 9♦ against UTG big stack Vivencio Nachor Jr. flipping over A♦ 8♣ to scoop up a much needed double up.

After a full 17 levels of play, the starting field of 151 got reduced to the final 23 entering tomorrow's Day 2 Final with Ryan Tan accumulating a whopping 518,000 to take first place, Vivencio Nachor Jr. bagging 449,000 in 2nd and Jose Colada - after an early exit - making good use of his additional bullet to finish 3rd with 318,000 to his name.

A total of 193 entries over both flights got us well above the guaranteed prize pool with a final ₱3,294,896 to be distributed among the 30 finalists tomorrow. The top spot will take home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a share of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000.
