Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

Open-jamming 300,000 from HJ with A♠ K♣ , Ryan Tan enters a flip needing to hit against Michael De Leon with Q♠ Q♦ in the big blind. No help for big slick on 2♣ 4♠ 4♦ 5♦ 7♦ and the field is down to 6.

Kicking off the action with a 60,000 raise from +1, Jeffrey Ponce is faced with a 155,000 three-bet from BU Ryan Tan. After some consideration, Jeffrey Ponce announces all-in to take down the pot uncontested.

Moving all-in from UTG with J♠ J♦ , Ryan Tan is in for a surprise when CO Michael De Leon calls for 315,000 with K♦ K♠ . The dealer delivers an insignificant 3♣ 6♥ 7♥ 3♦ T♦ to decide another massive pot.

With UTG Lim Shyh Chyn jamming for 84,000 holding A♦ 2♦ and CO Ryan Tan itching to gobble up another bounty with 9♦ 8♣ we put the dealer to work flipping over K♥ T♦ 6♣ 8♥ 5♠ to grant Ryan Tan his wish.

Opening to 42,000 from CO, Ryan Tan takes BB Alvares Janno to the flop Q♦ J♦ A♣ and the action gets checked to the aggressor forking out another 15,000 to take down the pot uncontested.

With UTG Ryan Tan opening 18,000 and BU Alvarez Janno calling we see the flop 4♦ Q♥ 8♠ . A 15,000 c-bet gets called to reveal the turn 4♠ followed by Ryan Tan slowing down with a check. Alvarez Janno tests the waters with a 30,000 lead, countered by a 90,000 raise and decides to go all-in for 235,000. Ryan Tan lets it go to preserve a healthy stack.

After a full 17 levels of play, the starting field of 151 got reduced to the final 23 entering tomorrow's Day 2 Final with Ryan Tan accumulating a whopping 518,000 to take first place, Vivencio Nachor Jr. bagging 449,000 in 2nd and Jose Colada - after an early exit - making good use of his additional bullet to finish 3rd with 318,000 to his name.

A total of 193 entries over both flights got us well above the guaranteed prize pool with a final ₱3,294,896 to be distributed among the 30 finalists tomorrow. The top spot will take home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a share of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000.
