Finishing Runner-Up in Flight A on Sunday and entering the final day as 5th in chips, Jeffrey Ponce continued to chip up throughout the day, making it to the final table as 4th in chips. Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

Coming off of a double up, Rintalahti Jussi looks down at A♠ J♥ on the button and jams for 99,000 against Lim Shyh Chyn's 12,000 open from CO, who decides to call with 6♣ 6♥ and all eyes are on the dealers hands unveiling 7♠ 9♠ 8♣ 4♦ 7♣ to send the next player packing.

Picking up the action on the river 7♠ 3♠ 4♣ 8♠ 9♣ and 65,000 in the pot, we see Rintalahti Jussi check-call all-in 26,000 with K♠ 9♦ against UTG big stack Vivencio Nachor Jr. flipping over A♦ 8♣ to scoop up a much needed double up.

After a full 17 levels of play, the starting field of 151 got reduced to the final 23 entering tomorrow's Day 2 Final with Ryan Tan accumulating a whopping 518,000 to take first place, Vivencio Nachor Jr. bagging 449,000 in 2nd and Jose Colada - after an early exit - making good use of his additional bullet to finish 3rd with 318,000 to his name.

A total of 193 entries over both flights got us well above the guaranteed prize pool with a final ₱3,294,896 to be distributed among the 30 finalists tomorrow. The top spot will take home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a share of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000.

With another pre flop all-in, this time from CO Georgios Orestidis for 25,000 holding 7♦ 7♣ and a call by BU Rintalahti Jussi with K♣ Q♦ , the dealer hits the felt 4♥ 4♣ K♥ T♦ J♠ and Rintalahti Jussi ends another players hopes of making it to Day 2.

Rintalahti Jussi opens 4,000 from +1 with A♣ K♣ and snap calls when Chua Woo Hian jams A♥ J♠ for 30,000. The dealer shares the board 8♣ T♠ 7♠ 2♥ K♦ with an interested audience and Chua Woo Hian shuffles away from the table.

With a 2,500 open from Kenzo Maruyama in +1 and two callers from CO and BB we see the flop A♥ Q♠ T♥ that gets checked to CO Jussi Rintalahti, making it 3,500. Only Kenzo Maruyama continues to the flop 7♦ but decides to let it go when faced with another 15,000 bet.

CO Kenzo Maruyama opens for 1,500 and sees both blinds defend for the flop 8♥ 5♠ 7♦ worthy of a 1,500 c-bet. SB Jussi Rintalahti and BB Terry Gonzaga wanna see the turn 7♣ , but have to fold, when faced with another 3,000 bet.
