Finishing Runner-Up in Flight A on Sunday and entering the final day as 5th in chips, Jeffrey Ponce continued to chip up throughout the day, making it to the final table as 4th in chips. Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

Sliding his last 9,000 in the middle, Patrick Wahlquist watches on as both blinds fill up and check it down to the river A♠ 9♣ 5♣ 2♣ K♣ with Mark Hebron spiking a flush and picking up the P35,000 bounty with 7♣ 7♦ against K♠ J♠ from the shorty and 4♥ 4♠ for Edgar Asehan.

Holding 7♠ 7♣ , Patrick Wahlquist opens 10,000, followed by a three-bet to 43,000 from BB Lim Shyh Chyn holding A♠ A♥ and all the chips go in with Lim Shyh Chyn being at risk for 90,000. The dealer delivers a low board 2♦ 6♥ 4♥ 3♠ 3♦ and Patrick Wahlquist is left with less than two BB.

After a full 17 levels of play, the starting field of 151 got reduced to the final 23 entering tomorrow's Day 2 Final with Ryan Tan accumulating a whopping 518,000 to take first place, Vivencio Nachor Jr. bagging 449,000 in 2nd and Jose Colada - after an early exit - making good use of his additional bullet to finish 3rd with 318,000 to his name.

A total of 193 entries over both flights got us well above the guaranteed prize pool with a final ₱3,294,896 to be distributed among the 30 finalists tomorrow. The top spot will take home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a share of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000.

Kang Beomhui pumps it to 50,000 in position and isolates to proudly show K♣ 9♦ nines full, but in a shocking turn, preflop jammer Patrick Wahlquist tables T♦ T♣ for tens full to scoop up the main pot and more than triples up in the process.

Patrick Wahlquist initiates the action with a 33,500 jam from +1, called by Jeffrey Calonge for 21,500 in +2 and all eyes go to the dealer.
