Finishing Runner-Up in Flight A on Sunday and entering the final day as 5th in chips, Jeffrey Ponce continued to chip up throughout the day, making it to the final table as 4th in chips. Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

A 100,000 min-raise from UTG Michael De Leon has BB Jeffrey Ponce defend to lay his eyes on 3♦ 6♦ 5♦ . No action reveals the 2♦ turn with De Leon sliding 60,000 over the line and a quick call completes the board J♣ . Both players keen to show their cards, Jeffrey Ponce comes out on top with 7♦ 7♥ against a muck.

With a large 200,000 raise from UTG, Jeffrey Ponce takes CO and BB on a costly trip to see the flop A♦ 5♠ K♣ . Checked to Michael De Leon in the cut-off 150,000 go over the line with no takers.

Jamming 155,000 from +1 with A♠ 6♣ , Mark Hebron's tournament life is at risk when HJ Michael De Leon calls with A♦ 3♦ . The dealer improves both players with 6♦ 3♣ 7♦ Q♣ 5♣ , but still hands the pot to Mark Hebron for a much needed double up.

Starting us off with a 16,000 open from +1, Francisco Sanchez takes both blinds to the flop K♠ J♦ 5♦ with the action checked to him. Continuing for 11,000, he has to let it go against BB Michael De Leon who slides 31,000 over the line.

Losing a few hands after delivering his last knock out, BB Masayuki Suzuki tags along for 15,000 to see the flop 6♥ 4♣ J♥ and checks. Pre flop aggressor Michael De Leon continues for 9,000 and another call reveals the turn 5♠ that gets checked to the river Q♥ . Masayuki Suzuki takes over the reins with a 50,000 lead to pick up the pot.

After a full 17 levels of play, the starting field of 151 got reduced to the final 23 entering tomorrow's Day 2 Final with Ryan Tan accumulating a whopping 518,000 to take first place, Vivencio Nachor Jr. bagging 449,000 in 2nd and Jose Colada - after an early exit - making good use of his additional bullet to finish 3rd with 318,000 to his name.

A total of 193 entries over both flights got us well above the guaranteed prize pool with a final ₱3,294,896 to be distributed among the 30 finalists tomorrow. The top spot will take home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a share of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000.
