Finishing Runner-Up in Flight A on Sunday and entering the final day as 5th in chips, Jeffrey Ponce continued to chip up throughout the day, making it to the final table as 4th in chips. Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

Having banked the top bounty of P250,000 earlier in the day, Masayuki Suzuki three bet shoves his remaining 164,000 with A♦ 8♠ from SB against an open and a call from BU Francisco Sanchez holding A♣ T♥ to dominate. No changes on the board 3♦ K♣ 9♥ 6♣ 6♠ .

First to act Mark Hebron opens for 22,000, answered by a 60,000 three-bet from Masayuki Suzuki in CO for the flop J♣ 2♣ J♥ . With a check in front, Masayuki Suzuki announces all-in for 86,000 and scoops up the pot.

Losing a few hands after delivering his last knock out, BB Masayuki Suzuki tags along for 15,000 to see the flop 6♥ 4♣ J♥ and checks. Pre flop aggressor Michael De Leon continues for 9,000 and another call reveals the turn 5♠ that gets checked to the river Q♥ . Masayuki Suzuki takes over the reins with a 50,000 lead to pick up the pot.

After doubling against Sham Wing Sheuk a few hands prior, Masayuki Suzuki counters his next 42,000 open from SB with a three bet to 130,000. Sham Wing Sheuk calls his last 50,000, flips over A♦ 5♥ and is dominated by Suzuki's 5♦ 5♣ . The dealer agrees, revealing 9♥ K♠ J♠ 8♥ 8♠ , knocking out Sham Wing Sheuk in the process.

Sham Wing Sheuk kicks off the action with an 11,000 raise from BU with 3♥ 3♦ and BB Masayuki Suzuki jams for 72,000 holding A♠ T♦ . A call has the dealer center stage tabling A♣ A♥ K♦ 2♦ 7♥ , keeping Masayuki Suzuki in the tournament.

After a full 17 levels of play, the starting field of 151 got reduced to the final 23 entering tomorrow's Day 2 Final with Ryan Tan accumulating a whopping 518,000 to take first place, Vivencio Nachor Jr. bagging 449,000 in 2nd and Jose Colada - after an early exit - making good use of his additional bullet to finish 3rd with 318,000 to his name.

A total of 193 entries over both flights got us well above the guaranteed prize pool with a final ₱3,294,896 to be distributed among the 30 finalists tomorrow. The top spot will take home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a share of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000.

An action packed pre flop starts with UTG making it 6,000, BU Masayuki Suzuki three-betting to 15,000, BB Robert Takahashi pumping it to 31,000, UTG lets it go and BU announces all-in for 80,000. Robert Takahashi's last 26,000 go in the middle for a call to show A♦ K♥ against Masayuki Suzuki's J♠ J♣ . The dealer dishes out 5♣ 9♣ 2♣ Q♣ 9♠ to grant Masayuki Suzuki a flush that sends Robert Takahashi to the rail.

Shinnosuke Arima leads the way with a 1,200 raise to take us to the flop T♥ J♦ 5♥ four-way. Checked around to the turn 6♦ we see BU Gambhir Birangat lead 3,000 with BB Masayuki Suzuki and the pre flop aggressor tagging along to the river 6♣ . UTG starts us off for an 800 raise, +1 makes it 2,500 and SB Masayuki Suzuki wants 6,500. Only +1 Shinnosuke Arima feels obliges to see the flop 7♦ 8♣ 9♥ . The 5,000 c-bet gets countered by a 10,000 raise and we go to the river 4♦ 3♣ for free. Masayuki Suzuki flips over K♠ K♥ to scoop the pot.
