Finishing Runner-Up in Flight A on Sunday and entering the final day as 5th in chips, Jeffrey Ponce continued to chip up throughout the day, making it to the final table as 4th in chips. Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

Folded to Jose Colada in SB we hear all-in for 320,000 holding A♦ T♦ to dominate BB Francisco Sanchez's call with K♠ T♥ . The dealer tables J♦ K♥ A♥ 3♣ and takes the room into a frenzy by completing the board with the K♣ to send Jose Colada packing.

Jeffrey Ponce starts us off with a 25,000 open from +1, countered by a 65,000 three-bet from BU Jose Colada and the flop comes Q♣ 6♦ 2♠ . Checked to the BU, 26,000 go over the line and a call reveals 7♦ . Another 85,000 lead in position from Jose Colada shuts his opponent down.

With a 25,000 open from +1, Jose Colada needs a time bank to call BU Ivan Dela Cruz' 115,000 jam and all eyes wander to the dealer's hands.

Facing a 20,000 open from UTG Edgar Asehan, Jose Colada jams for 121,000 with A♠ Q♠ and gets snapped by his opponent, flipping over A♦ K♣ to dominate. Having a heart for underdogs, the dealer cooks up 3♥ 4♦ Q♥ 2♥ 4♣ , denies a bounty and takes Jose Colada out of the danger zone.

Making it 16,000 UTG Francisco Sanchez takes BB Jose Colada to the flop 7♥ 8♠ 5♣ with the latter sliding out a donk-bet of 21,000 that gets called. On the turn Q♦ Jose Colada leads for another 60,000 and a call completes the board 7♥ . Putting Francisco Sanchez all-in, Jose Colada gets called with his pants down A♣ J♦ against Q♣ T♣ from his opponent.

Starting us off with a 16,000 open from +1, Francisco Sanchez takes both blinds to the flop K♠ J♦ 5♦ with the action checked to him. Continuing for 11,000, he has to let it go against BB Michael De Leon who slides 31,000 over the line.

When faced with a 12,000 open from HJ Kim Hong Ko, SB Jose Colada pumps it to 36,000 and a call has the dealer reveal 3♣ 8♠ 4♣ . A small c-bet of 12,000 induces Kim Hong Ko to jam 100,000 with 3♠ 3♥ that gets snapped by Jose Colada holding the nuts 8♦ 8♥ . The dealer doesn't deliver a wonder and completes the board 8♣ 4♠ , sending Kim Hong Ko to the rail.

After a full 17 levels of play, the starting field of 151 got reduced to the final 23 entering tomorrow's Day 2 Final with Ryan Tan accumulating a whopping 518,000 to take first place, Vivencio Nachor Jr. bagging 449,000 in 2nd and Jose Colada - after an early exit - making good use of his additional bullet to finish 3rd with 318,000 to his name.

A total of 193 entries over both flights got us well above the guaranteed prize pool with a final ₱3,294,896 to be distributed among the 30 finalists tomorrow. The top spot will take home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a share of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000.

The dealer likes the ladies, flipping over Q♦ 2♦ T♦ 4♠ 4♥ dishing out a massive beat close to the bubble and Jose Colada takes his second bullet to new heights.

Edward Halmarack kicks off the action with a 2,500 raise from UTG to bring the button and both blinds to the flop J♣ 3♦ T♣ that gets checked to the turn 5♠ . Liking his position, BU Jose Colada puts out a feeler for 3,000 that only gets rid of the BB to see the river 6♦ three-way. After everyone checked, Kick-off champ Keijiro Shimojo tables K♠ 3♠ from the SB, followed by a muck, but has to surrender the pot to Jose Colada flipping over 4♣ 5♣ .

Picking up the action on the river 8♣ K♣ 4♠ 5♦ K♦ with 16,000 in the pot, Jose Colada announces all-in for 10,100 with 8♥ 4♣ and has to gather his belongings when Asano Shoko calls with K♠ 3♠ .
