Finishing Runner-Up in Flight A on Sunday and entering the final day as 5th in chips, Jeffrey Ponce continued to chip up throughout the day, making it to the final table as 4th in chips. Eliminating Yuki Nishio in 8th place with KJ against AJ was a big break, inducing a bluff with top pair against Michael De Leon saw him extend his lead and later eliminating him in 4th place to enter the three-way deal with more chips than 2nd and 3rd combined.

Talking about 2nd and 3rd, the double elimination stole their spotlight, but Michael Cerbito had a great run closing the deal in 2nd with P282,500 from the regular prize pool and an additional P41,000 in bounties and 3rd place Francisco Sanchez, who was extremely active from the get go taking home 267,500 from the deal and six bounties worth a whopping P391,000, making him the biggest winner of the day.

Starting the action with a 440,000 open-jam from the button holding A♦ J♣ , Francisco Sanchez watches on as SB Michael Cerbito wagers his last 1,000,000 with A♣ 9♠ and the chip leader Jeffrey Ponce finding a call with K♥ T♥ . Having a flight to catch, the dealer conjures up 3♠ K♦ 8♦ 4♠ 9♣ to end the tournament and hand over the trophy to Jeffrey Ponce.

Trying to put his newly acquired chips to good use, Francisco Sanchez announces all-in for 2,300,000 with A♣ 3♠ from the button just to find out he is a huge underdog against Jeffrey Ponce calling his last 1,800,000 with A♠ J♥ . Both players missing the board K♠ 6♠ 4♣ 9♥ T♣ completely has Jeffrey Ponce running away with a commanding chip lead.

First to act, Jeffrey Ponce announces all-in with A♥ 9♣ and gets called by SB Francisco Sanchez for his remaining 1,100,000 holding A♣ K♠ . Sanchez stays ahead on Q♥ J♦ K♥ J♣ A♦ and goes back into the lead.

Francisco Sanchez mounts a steal of 635,000 from the button with A♥ 3♦ and BB Mark Hebron defends with his last 505,000 holding K♣ J♣ . The dealer keeps it interesting until the river Q♠ A♦ 4♥ 5♦ 9♥ but sends the underdog packing all the same.

Michael Cerbito kicks off the action with an 100,000 open to take BB Francisco Sanchez to the flop A♦ 3♠ K♠ . A 75,000 c-bet gets called to reveal the turn 6♥ where another continuation of 200,000 is enough for Michael Cerbito to take it down.

Looking down at A♣ Q♣ it is now or never for UTG William Kang to jam his remaining 300,000. Unfortunately for him, Francisco Sanchez wakes up with Q♥ Q♠ in the big blind and the dealer cant find an ace on 4♥ 6♥ K♥ T♣ Q♦ thereby ending William Kang's deep run.

Michael Cerbito initiates the action with a 60,000 raise from UTG and SB Francisco Sanchez defends to see the flop 6♥ T♥ T♦ for a friendly check-check to the turn 8♠ . Francisco Sanchez decides to lead 100,000, but has to fork out some more when the pre flop aggressor pumps it to 250,000 to make it to the river 7♣ . Putting Michael Cerbito all-in for 270,000 with A♣ 8♣ , Francisco Sanchez has to surrender a massive pot to his opponent flipping over A♥ T♣ .

With a 60,000 open from UTG, Jeffrey Ponce takes +2 Francisco Sanchez to the flop 4♣ 8♦ T♠ and decides to jam his massive stack into the chip leader. After the aid of a time bank, Francisco Sanchez begrudgingly lets it go and we move on.

With a 50,000 open from UTG, Mark Hebron takes CO and BB to the flop Q♠ 3♠ T♦ . Checked to Francisco Sanchez, a 35,000 feeler goes out and the pre flop aggressor is the only one paying up the see the turn K♥ . Another 120,000 from the CO ends the hand.

Francisco Sanchez kicks us off with a 50,000 open from HJ, followed by a call from CO and a jam by Edgar Asehan for 390,000 in the BB. In the next hand Francisco Sanchez defends his SB against a 30,000 open from CO Michael Cerbito to see the flop T♥ 9♠ 6♦ . Check-calling a further 50,000 for the turn T♦ , Francisco Sanchez lets it go when faced with another 70,000 bet.

Folded to Jose Colada in SB we hear all-in for 320,000 holding A♦ T♦ to dominate BB Francisco Sanchez's call with K♠ T♥ . The dealer tables J♦ K♥ A♥ 3♣ and takes the room into a frenzy by completing the board with the K♣ to send Jose Colada packing.

Having banked the top bounty of P250,000 earlier in the day, Masayuki Suzuki three bet shoves his remaining 164,000 with A♦ 8♠ from SB against an open and a call from BU Francisco Sanchez holding A♣ T♥ to dominate. No changes on the board 3♦ K♣ 9♥ 6♣ 6♠ .

With +1 Francisco Sanchez making it 25,000 and BU Hayashi Hiroki increasing to 50,000 we get treated with the flop 8♥ 4♥ 4♦ . Another 30,000 c-bet takes us to the turn K♣ and Hayashi Hiroki announces all-in for 80,000 and takes down the pot.

Making it 16,000 UTG Francisco Sanchez takes BB Jose Colada to the flop 7♥ 8♠ 5♣ with the latter sliding out a donk-bet of 21,000 that gets called. On the turn Q♦ Jose Colada leads for another 60,000 and a call completes the board 7♥ . Putting Francisco Sanchez all-in, Jose Colada gets called with his pants down A♣ J♦ against Q♣ T♣ from his opponent.

Starting us off with a 16,000 open from +1, Francisco Sanchez takes both blinds to the flop K♠ J♦ 5♦ with the action checked to him. Continuing for 11,000, he has to let it go against BB Michael De Leon who slides 31,000 over the line.

Picking up the action on the river 3♠ T♦ 3♦ 7♠ K♥ and 53,000 in the middle we see Francisco Sanchez lead 20,000 with 3♥ 5♥ countered by a jam from Kang Beomhui holding K♠ T♣ and a quick call, thinning out the field further.

After a full 17 levels of play, the starting field of 151 got reduced to the final 23 entering tomorrow's Day 2 Final with Ryan Tan accumulating a whopping 518,000 to take first place, Vivencio Nachor Jr. bagging 449,000 in 2nd and Jose Colada - after an early exit - making good use of his additional bullet to finish 3rd with 318,000 to his name.

A total of 193 entries over both flights got us well above the guaranteed prize pool with a final ₱3,294,896 to be distributed among the 30 finalists tomorrow. The top spot will take home at least ₱440,000 from the regular prize pool and a share of the bounty pool ranging from the lowest ₱26,000 up to the largest one of ₱250,000.
