Takagi ousted by Mirpuri after losing flip

Level 15: 2,000 / 4,000 ante: 4,000
Rishi Mirpuri

A preflop raise war ensued between Singapore's Rishi Mirpuri and Koji Takagi of Japan when Mirpuri opened from the HJ for 8,000 and gets 3-bet by Takagi for 24,000. Mirpuri 4-bet all-in and the Japanese called for his remaining 114,000.

Mirpuri shows A K while Takagi was flipping with 4 4 .

The first three community cards gave the Singaporean the lead: 7 A 6 but hope arrived on the turn for Takagi when the 5 appeared to now give him an open-ender.

The river, however, was the K and Mirpuri's two pairs sends Takagi to the sidelines for good.
