Nagy's hidden set crushes Wei's Jacks

Level 12: 1,000 / 2,000 ante: 2,000
Andrej Nagy

After successfully dounling up a few hands back against England's Ashley Patterson, Wei Amos Yi Zhu of Singapore found himself in a raised pot with Slovakia's Andrej Nagy firing a raise from UTG. Wei re-pops it to 15,000 from the Button and Nagy tanks and calls.

The flop goes 4 T 2 as Nagy checks. Wei comes out with guns ablaze, betting 20,000 and Nagy responds with a check-raise shove of 68,800. Wei immediately calls.

Nagy tables T T for top set while a shocked Wei flips over J J.

The turn of 8 and the river of A sent Wei's stack plummeting to the danger zone of barely ten BBs.

Sakurai caught by Nagy

Level 8: 500 / 1,000 ante: 1,000
Ryota Sakurai

The shift to Level 8 is greeted with some minor bullying by Slovakia's Andrej Nagy as he raises from the D for 1,800 and gets a call from Japanese player Ryota Sakurai in the BB.

The flop comes 9 3 T as both players check.

The turn is the 2 to which Sakurai fires a bet of 2,400. After some thinking, Nagy calls.

The river shows the 7 and suddenly Sakurai goes off for a bet of 10,000. Nagy tanks longer but still makes the call.

Sakurai gets caught as he shows 8 5 while Nagy tables A 7.

Nagy busts out for now

Level 2: 100 / 200 ante: 200
Andrej Nagy

Slovakian superstar Andrej Nagy engages Shiima Tsubasa of Japan in a preflop raising war as Nagy initially raises to 700 from UTG then Tsubasa pumped it up to 2,500. Nagy then 4-bet his Japanese opponent to 8,000 and Tsubasa opted to just call.

The flop comes Q 3 4 . Nagy shoves his remaining stack of 16,500 and gets a quick call from Tsubasa.

Nagy shows J J but much to his chagrin, Tsubasa tables K K .

The runout goes 2 6 as the Slovak was seen heading to the cage, perhaps getting ready to jump back in.
