Turabayev More Than Doubles With A Straight

Level 12: 1,000 / 2,000 ante: 2,000

Four players built a pot of 24,000 to see a flop of 9 6 Q

Action was checked to William Teoh on the dealer button, who obliged by firing 12,000 with his 5 5 . Clement Chau called from the small blind with his K Q. as did Alan Turabayev with his J T on the big blind.

The three were shown a J ; on the turn and all checked to see an 8 on the river.

Chau checked the option to Turabayev, who put in 13,700. Teoh stepped down and Chau made the call to his disappointment with his pair queen not good enough against Turabayev's straight.
