The Japanese Kazuhiro Shirazawa, who could be seen in multiple pots in the first level, opened from the cut-off to 300, and got three-bet to 1,000 by his fellow countrymen Hironobu Hasegawa in the small-blind. Shirazawa responded with a four-bet to 2,200. The small-blind called and they went off to see a flop.
