Xin Ann Lim Has Been Eliminated in 10th Place For PHP 468,000 (~$7,955)

Level 24: 30,000 / 60,000 ante: 60,000
Xin Ann Lim

Xin Ann Lim opened to 100,000 from under the gun and Alexander Lynskey three-bet the button to 275,000. Lim called.

They went to a flop of Q 6 7 where Lim led out with a bet of 150,000, which Lysnkey called to the 8 turn. Lim kept up the aggression with a bet of 375,000, which Lynskey called.

A 4 landed on the river and Lim unloaded a third bet into the pot of 275,000. Lynskey riffled his chips for a while and used some extra time before he shipped his stack into the pot. Lim had around 600,000 behind and rechecked his cards as he leaned back in his chair, pondering his decision.

A towering stack belonging to Lim was pushed into the pot, but it wasn't chips. Instead, all of his time-bank cards were moved in while Lim mulled it over. Lim needed just a few 30-second extensions before he finally made a decision, and called.

Lynskey then showed Q 5 for a rivered straight, which beat the 7 7 of Lim, who had flopped a set.

What a pot for Lynskey, but disaster for Lim who becomes the final table bubble boy.

Ceesvin was a in a fantastic spot to double up, and his hand stayed in the lead on the 3 3 7 flop. However, a devastating J on the turn propelled Lynskey in front, leaving Ceesvin with three shots at survival.

Lynskey's Eights Are Good Enough

Level 22: 20,000 / 40,000 ante: 40,000

In a battle of the blinds, small blind Andrew Lynskey and big blind Chaoui Mehdi checked on a flop of 2 J 3 to see a T on the turn.

Lynskey check-called the 75,000 bet from Mehdi to see a 4 on the river. Both decided not to put any more chips in. Lynskey flipped 8 8 while Mehdi mucked. The win grew Lynskey's stack even more while Mehdi's stack sunk.

Lynskey and Ceesvin Chop Main Pot

Level 22: 20,000 / 40,000 ante: 40,000
Abraham Ceesvin

Alexander Lynskey opened for 60,000, and Yuhang Chen called. When the action folded to the blinds, Abraham Ceesvin re-raised to 100,000, leaving himself with only 48,000 chips behind. Lynskey responded with a four-bet to 180,000. Chen considered his options and then made the call, creating a 65,000 side pot.

The dealer flopped J 9 8 , and both players checked. Lynskey kept up the pressure by betting 160,000 on the 5 turn. Chen called.

On the river 4 , Lynskey continued, which perplexed Chen. He took some time to consider the hand, using a time bank card. In the end, he mucked his hand, and Lynskey scooped the 385,000 side pot.

Abraham Ceesvin: K J

Alexander Lynskey: K J

With identical hands, Ceesvin and Lynskey chopped the main pot.

Lynskey Lays Down the Law on the Bubble

Level 19: 10,000 / 20,000 ante: 20,000
Chi Wai Law

After around fifteen episodes of hand-for-hand play, short-stacked Chi Wai Law shoved from the small blind for 120,000 and Alexander Lynskey quickly called from the big blind.

Chi Wai Law: K 9

Alexander Lynskey: Q 7

Law had to wait around to watch his fate unravel as there was still play on the outer two tables. Eventually, the floor gave permission for the dealer to start running the board.

Lynskey took the lead on the T 7 4 flop as he paired his seven, which left Law needing some help. The 3 turn offered absolutely no help, and the 2 river was the brick Lynskey needed to send Law to the rail empty-handed.
