The APPT One Million Challenge (Single Re-Entry) opened yesterday with six players high-rolling the PHP 1,000,000 (~US$ 17,100) buy-in to join. Players will be given a starting stack of 1,00,000 chips which will provide for a comfortable and lengthy marathon. In fact, yesterday's action only saw one bust out. Perhaps action was too slow, but the remaining 5 decided to take a pause to continue the action the next day in the hopes that more would register, which brings us to right now!

Action continues here at the Okada Manila with a total of 11 entries so far with 10 remaining to compete for a piece of the PHP 10,349,900 (~US$ 176,700) prize pool. Registration is still open until end of Level 12. Play will resume at Level 8 where blinds are 10,000/25,000 Ante 25,000.

Matthew Wakeman raised to 22,000 from the button and Elias Gutierrez defended the big blind for both players to see a flop of 9♦ 6♣ 4♣ . Gutierrez checked to Wakeman who fired out 60,000. Gutierrez folded and Wakeman took down the pot.

Matthew Wakeman limped from under the gun and called the 16,000 min-raise of Vincent Huang from the cut-off. Both players were shown a flop of 7♥ 9♦ A♣. Wakeman checked then folded to the 12,000 bet of Huang.
