In the next seat over at UTG+1, Cheng Xiong four bet to 1,600 with Beng Ker calling from the big blind and Tanaka also completing for the making of a big pot. The three players were shown a flop of 6 3 T. Action was checked to Xiong, who fired 3,000. Ker made the call and proceeded to the 8 turn. Ker checked and Xiong fired another barrel for 7,500. Ker then moved all-in for 35,000. Xiong didn't hesitate and risked his remaining 16,000.


Xiong flips over aces while Ker shows a flush draw. The crucial river threw a brick 5, giving the winning thumbs up to Xiong and doubling up his stack.

Hidekazu Tanaka raised to 300 from under the fun with Jeong Seonghun calling from the cut-off. The flop came down J A 9. Tanaka check-called the 600 of Seonghun to see a J on the turn. Both players slowed down to get a free peek at the 8 on the river. Tanaka took a moment and then checked with Seonghun checking behind. Tanaka showed 8 8 for a boat of eights over jacks. Seonghun mucked and patted himself in the back.

Hidekazu Tanaka four-bet from the button to 400 and Georgios Skarparis defended from the big blind to see a glop of 9 K 2. Skarparis checked and called the 500 c-bet from Tanaka to see a T on the turn. Both players tapped twice to see the K on the river and did the same thing again to settle things by showing cards.


Tanaka spiked a ten on the turn to make a better pair than the fives of Skarparis and took down the pot.
