Georgios Skarparis - who is on his second life in this tournament after an earlier bust - raised to 600 from under the gun and called the 1,700 re-raise by Alfonso Baja on the button. Both players were thrown a T♥ A♠ 7♣ flop. Both checked to see a free T♣ on the turn. Skaparis led out with 2,300 and was called by Baja to see a Q♣ on the river. Skarparis then fired 4,500 which was called by Baja.

Skarparis showed a busted straight while Baja showed a broadway straight ten to ace.

Georgios Skarparis four-bet to 400 from first position and was called by the hi-jack, the button and the small blind. All four players were peeled a flop of Q♥ 5♥ 4♥. Action was checked to the raiser and Skarparis made a c-bet of 4,500. Small blind Beng Ker was the only one who called to see a 6♦ turn. Beng Ker checked his option and Skarparis fired 7,500. Ker took a moment and then declared all-in for 29,000. Skarparis made the call.

When they flipped their cards over, Skarparis was drawing dead against the nut flush of Ker. The 7♣ on the river didn't even matter. Ker busts Skarparis and boosts his stack.

Hidekazu Tanaka four-bet from the button to 400 and Georgios Skarparis defended from the big blind to see a glop of 9♣ K♦ 2♣. Skarparis checked and called the 500 c-bet from Tanaka to see a T♥ on the turn. Both players tapped twice to see the K♣ on the river and did the same thing again to settle things by showing cards.

Tanaka spiked a ten on the turn to make a better pair than the fives of Skarparis and took down the pot.
