Hand #45-46: Ron Tate opens 80,000, gets popped by Michael Kim Falcon to 200,000, Tate calls for a flop 5♥ 4♦ 7♥ . After Tate checks, Falcon fires 200,000, Tate folds after a time bank is used.

Following that hand, Tate defends the big blind and calls Hyeonsik Yun's min-raise. On the flop T♥ A♥ 9♠ , Tate check-raises 160,000 and Hyeonsik sticks around for the turn K♥ . Tate leads out 130,000, Hyeonsik jams, Tate tanks for three time banks then folds.

Hand #21: Hyeonsik Yun gets a call on his 80,000 raise then folds to Ron Tate's 100,000 bet on a flop J♠ J♥ T♣ .

Hand #22: Big blind Michael Kim Falcon gets a walk.

Hand #23: Button raise of 40,000 by Ron Tate is defended by big blind Hyeonsik Yun. Both check to the turn K♠ 5♠ 9♠ 5♦ , Tate bets 45,000 and wins the pot on a fold.

Hand #12: Ron Tate opens 65,000 and wins the blinds and ante.

Hand #13: Jeorge Lagatuz opens 65,000, still no flop as everyone folds.

Hand #14: Big blind Michael Kim Falcon calls Oliver Schulze min-raise then check-calls on a board 9♥ K♣ 2♣ 6♦ for 65,000 and 130,000. On the river 8♥ , both check, Falcon has K♥ 4♣ top pair and collects his second good pot of the day.

Hand #15: Ron Tate bumps it up to 65,000 and is up against caller Hyeonsik Yun from the big blind. Both check to the turn 9♠ 8♦ 4♦ K♥ . Tate bets 120,000 and takes it down without a fight.

Hand #5: Ihor Yerofieiev opens 80,000 and wins the blinds and ante.

Hand #6: Hyeonsik Yun brings it up to 60,000 then calls hijack Jeorge Lagatuz's 150,000 three-bet. Lagatuz continues on the flop 5♠ 8♠ 3♠ , gets called again, then steps on the brakes on the turn 9♣ . Hyeonsik checks as well and the river comes 9♦ . Hyeonsik leads out 150,000 which is a quarter of Lagatuz's stack. Lagatuz tanks for two time banks then gives up his stake on the pot.

The APPT National wrapped up Day 2 with the Final 9 players determined in just 7 hours of play. Bagging up the biggest was Hyeonsik Yun with 52 bb. Yun is the only representative left from Korea hoping to lift the title and the US$ 44,350 top prize. Yun catapulted to join the leaders after eliminating Bruno Moyse with A♦ A♠ dominating K♦ Q♦ .

Trailing the leader by a small margin was Francisco Sanchez with 49 bb. Sanchez earned a good chunk of his chips by cleaning out Quan Qiu with K♥ K♦ against J♦ 9♦ .

Other players earning their spot in the final lineup were Adrien Berger, Michael Kim Falcon, Hironori Yamada who is on his second final table having done the same at the NagaWorld Kick Off, Jeorge Lagatus, Ron Tate, Ihor Yerofieiev, and Oliver Schulze.

Goyal Abhishek starts the action with 25,000 from +1 and Ronnie Tate calls from the BB. Flop comes A♣ 6♣ 7♦ , Abhishek continues 45,000 and Tate calls to see the turn T♦ . Tate takes the lead with a 55,000 bet, Abhishek calls and the dealer reveals the 3♠ on the river. Tate leads with another 50,000, gets called and shows A♥ Q♥ . Abhishek mucks.

Thomas Leslie (HJ) raises 10,000 preflop and Ronnie Tate (CO) calls. They see the flop carry 7♣ J♦ 7♠ , Thomas bets 15,000 and Ronnie calls. The turn is revealed 4♥ . Thomas bats again for 26,000 and after some deep thinking Ronnie calls. The river comes in with T♦ . Both Players check. Ronnie reveals his pocket deuces and Thomas mucks.
