Shoving his last 36,000 from the BB, Nikola Zhivoderov tournament is on the line against button opener Kien Tat Heng.

Nikolai Zhivoderov makes it 12,000 from +2, Sun Yunsheng defends his BB and the dealer shows 2♦ K♦ 6♠ . Zhivoderov c-bets 11,000, Sun calls and we check it down to 6♥ 8♠ . Sun leads 25,000 with A♠ 9♣ and Zhivoderov takes it down with K♥ T♠ .

After raising preflop, Nikolai Zhivoderov continues 1500 on a flop T♠ 9♣ J♣ only to face a raise from Abhishek Goyal of 6500. Zhivoderov responds with a shove and wins the pot uncontested.

Nikolai Zhivoderov raises from UTG to 1,200 and gets re-raised by fellow Russian player Dmitry Suchkov to 4,200. Xu Zinan of China opts to call from the BB while the initial raiser Zhivoderov opts to fold.

The flop is 9♣ 6♠ 7♥ as Xu checks. Suchkov bets 5,000 and that is greeted with a check-raise by Chinese player to 20,000. Suchkov 3-bets to 35,000 effectively putting Xu all-in. Xu calls his remaining 25,100.

Suchkov flips over A♠ A♣ while a disappointed Xu shows J♦ J♣ .

The board was completed by the K♠ and the 2♥ . Xu is out, but there is still plenty of time to re-enter.

Germany’s Oliver Schulze opens from the HJ for 500 and gets calls from the blinds in Nikolai Zhivoderov of Russia in the SB and Michael Falcon of Denmark in the BB.

The flop comes 3♠ 7♣ A♠ as the blinds check. Schulze continues for 1,200 and the Russian calls but Falcon departs. The turn is the 6♥. Zhivoderov checks anew and Schulze barrels again, this time for 4,500. Zhivoderov folds.

A raised pot to 2,700 sees France’s Yvan Bensasson (UTG), Nikolai Zhivoderov of Russia (+1) and China’s Qi Li (CO) all the mix.

The flop is K♦ 6♣ 7♦ as the action is checked to Qi who leads out for 800. Bensasson calls and then Zhivoderov check-raises to 2,000. Both Qi and Bensasson call. The turn is the 8♥ and the Russian player continues firing, this time for 5,000. Qi opts to step away, but the Frenchman still makes the call. The river card is the 4♦ as both players check.

Bensasson shows 9♦ 8♦ for an open-ended straight draw on the flop leading to a hit on the turn. Zhivoderov mucks.
