Ferdinand Lu makes it 65,000 which is cheap for big blind Donghyup Kim to call and see the flop 3♥ 2♥ 7♦ . Good board for the blind who check-calls 75,000. On the turn T♠ , Lu fires sends out 160,000 but this time is met with a check-raise from Kim to 350,000. Lu gives it some thought and opts to fight another hand.

CO Ferdinand Lu opens 45,000, followed by Adrien Berger's 110,000 from the button that sends Lu in the tank. After the aid of a time bank, Lu makes it 345,000 and gets it through without seeing a flop.

Ziad Zebib starts us off with 40,000 from UTG and only Ferdinand Lu wants to see the flop, defending his big blind. Lu check-calls for 30,000 on Q♠ 9♣ 9♠ and 60,000 on the turn 9♥ to switch it up and lead on the river K♦ for 100,000. Zebib needs a time bank to find the call and mucks when Lu flips over K♠ J♠ .

With UTG raising to 35,000, Ferdinand Lu calls from the CO, button Adrien Berger makes it 110,000 and Lu is the only one to call. The flop 3♣ 8♥ J♥ has Berger bet-fold 80,000 when faced with Lu's massive all-in.

Blinds call Jungyeob Lee's 3500 raise preflop, the cards run 7♥ Q♦ 2♦ , and they check. Lee continues for 4500, only Ferdinand Lu calls. No betting happens on the turn 4♣ , then on the river 9♥ , Lu leads out 9500, Lee raises 19,000, Lu makes it 44,500, Lee calls then mucks to Lu's 9♦ 9♠ set.

Raise from utg+1 sees five callers for lots of small chips in the middle. At the flop 6♣ 9♥ 8♠, hijack bets 6000, two players call, then small blind Ferdinand Lu check-raises 21,000. This is enough to win the pile.

Lu is way ahead until the river slaps down J♦ to send him packing in brutal fashion.

Utg Ferdinand Lu opens 3500, button Shaoshuai Li calls, small blind Michael Adam Bihari calls, then big blind Donghyup Kim re-raises 16,500. Only Lu pays it and heads to the flop 5♥ 3♠ J♦ . Kim jumps out for 13,000 and quickly wins the pot.

Ferdinand Lu opens then calls Jeremy Jehanne's three-bet of 8500 then both check to the turn 2♠ J♠ A♣ 5♣ . Lu lays out an 11,000 bet and wins the pot uncontested.

Lu pairs up but not enough to overtake Kim's aces to pay the maximum.

Following a raise from David Erquiaga, cutoff player Ferdinand Lu makes it 6100 only to get repopped to 17,500 by small blind Yuan Fred Bensasson. Back to Erquiaga who opts to get out of the way while Lu calls to go post flop.
