SMP: How difficult was it to make this event (USOP Hai Phong) happen and how special is it to you now that it is here?

KBD: With the Typhoon Yagi, it did make a lot of difficulties. But, we as a team with partner with Crown tried our very best and made it happen. All the blood and sweat did pay off. Looks like it’s becoming a successful event and it’s a really good turnout. And there’s more coming in.

SMP: This is the first international event in Vietnam since March. Do you think international poker brands will start returning to Vietnam?

KBD: Yes you can say that this is the first international event after March, let’s call it Black March. We’re good, we’re happy to be back. It looks like there will be more international events coming back to Vietnam in the future. Hopefully not just USOP but more brands because Vietnam is still a very popular destination for everyone.

SMP: What do you find most rewarding about representing USOP?

KBD: It’s growing with the brand. I remember one year ago, I started to become the ambassador of USOP. We were a still small company, now we completely grew to a very big top competing Asian brand. I have also grown myself along the way. I’m happy that I grew with an incredible company.
