Richest Main Event in Asia

As one of the most well known brands in China, year after year players have enjoyed top notch festivals and massive Main Event prize pools. In 2019, the brand delivered its richest and biggest one yet, drawing 3,132 entries for a ¥29,754,000 prize pool, equivalent to a monstrous $4.16 Million. This remains the largest Main Event pot and largest field ever amassed in Asia.

For the upcoming Main Event, the brand is headed for another crusher with a 3,500+ turnout expected and a record prize pool of $5.5 Million. The event runs from May 4 to 10. Buy in is ~$1,600. Players that reach the final table are in for a treat. Organizers boast of a new livestream table bigger and better than PokerGO. As always, the Main Event champion will be awarded the iconic Golden Dragon jade trophy.

With a pot this large, international players have expressed interest in participating, however, despite borders open and despite the assistance of CPG, obtaining a visa at this time has proven difficult for many. For foreigners already in the country, there should be no problem joining this event. To qualify, online satellites are still running or enter via the CPG App.

Other Events

In addition to the star attraction, the schedule is lined with a variety of daily events. Early arrivals have the 10th Year Anniversary Warm Up Event to feast on which runs from March 1 to 3 with two starting days. Another one certain to attract a large crowd is the Dragon King Event which features a unique White Dragon trophy made of jade. The Sanya Bay Cup bookends the series.

The schedule also includes High Roller events, Shot Clock, Bounty Hunter, Teams Event, Ladies Challenge, Omaha, and Short Deck.
