Poker After Dark PLO Sessions Highlights

In recent weeks, high stakes cash games have made a long-awaited return to our screens through Poker Go, bringing names such as Tom Dwan, Doyle Brunson, Antonio Esfandiari, Isaac Haxton and many others back to the televised tables.

While Hold’em has often been the game of choice for these cash games in years gone by, the latest televised shows have sought to incorporate PLO into the mix, which is a sure way to spice up the action. Be sure to watch these six Poker After Dark videos that show the highlights of these PLO sessions.

In the first video from the Poker After Dark ‘PLOMG’ sessions, two online legends in the form of Ike Haxton and Phil Galfond tangle in a hand which looks set to decimate one player’s chipstack.

Once again, Haxton and Galfond collide in this video, leaving one of them in a tough spot on the river in this fascinating pot.

The PLO mayhem continues at $300/$600 stakes in this video, as Haxton is yet again keeping himself busy, this time against Ben Lamb.

Dan Cates and Tom Dwan star in this interesting PLO hand. Fans will be happy to see some high stakes action between these two, as the online action between the two dried up a long time ago.

As all player know, the variance factor is quite significant in a game like PLO. In this video, the players decide it simply isn’t high enough, and find a way to add a little extra gamble to the session.

With Gafond and Haxton fighting it out for more than one big pot already in these PLO sessions, it seems fitting that the final video in our highlights features the same two protagonists. Multiple board runouts provide an interesting conclusion to the hand.
