Live poker always had a ready supply of characters to help fuel interest, but it wasn’t until at least 5 years later that online poker saw incendiary heroes who inspired adulation. Initially, Dwan‘s performances turned him into an online hero, but arguably, what Viktor Blom did online was more captivating and impressive. The fact that he demolished Dwan in the process only added to his legend.
